I felt the sack get lifted off my head and the tape and cloth was pulled out of my mouth. I blinked a few times to figure out where I was, but then I remembered. Jacob captured me and was holding me hostage. I stiffened when I saw who was in front of me. Jazlyn chained to a chair in front of me, she had a cloth over her mouth, and was crying.
“Jazlyn!” I tried breaking from the chair, but it wouldn't budge. “It's going to be okay, Baby. We're going to get out of this.”
“Empty promises, Harry,” Jacob said, emerging from the shadows. “You shouldn't lie to your fiancé like that. It's rude.”
“Let her go! Do whatever you want with me, but just let her go!”
Jacob laughed, “I didn't think of you as the begging type.” Jacob moved towards Jazlyn and moved a strand of hair away from her face. She cringed away and I tried breaking from the restraints, but it wouldn't budge. “We're going to have some fun,” he said closely to Jazlyn's ear.
He walked out of the room, leaving me alone with her. She was scared. I noticed that there was a mark on her chest that wasn't there before. I looked up at her. “Did he stake you?” I demanded. Jazlyn looked away and began to cry. “Did he stake you?!”
She cried, but nodded. I shouted at the top of my lungs. I took long ragged breathes before I looked up at her. “I'm so sorry, Baby. I never wanted you to get staked. I never wanted you in this position.”
Jazlyn nodded and tried removing the gag. After enough attempts, it finally slid out of her mouth. “What's going to happen?”
I looked down. “Do you want me to lie or tell you the truth?
“Tell me the truth, Harry.”
I cleared my throat, “He's going to torture us and then kill us, unless we get out of here.”
Jazlyn sucked in a breath and whispered, “I love you.”
“Baby, don't.” I shook my head. “We're not going to die like this. Do you understand me? We're not going to die like this. Do you trust me?”
Jazlyn sobbed, but nodded. “I trust you. Harry, I'm scared.”
“I know you are, Baby.” I wanted to hold her close so bad. “It's okay to be scared.”
“I'm not scared for myself,” Jazlyn stared at me. “I'm scared what he's going to do to you. I watched you get tortured once, I don't to see it again.”
“Baby, promise me you'll look away.”
She shook her head, “Don't tell me to do that.”
“Jazlyn, I want you to look away no matter what. You'll look away, do you understand?”
Jazlyn looked deep into my eyes. “I won't, Harry. I can't do that.”
“Where are the others?” I questioned her.
She shrugged as best as she could. “I don't know where they are. We tried contacting you and trying to figure out where you were, but we couldn't.”
“I know. The stones around us are blocking any contact from each other. Jacob apparently carried around a stone like it so that Niall couldn't get inside his head.”
“Did he already torture you?”
I shrugged, “More like throw a punch at me.”
“A punch? Harry, it looked like he threw more than a punch. Your lip is bleeding and your eye is swollen.”
“You should have seen me an hour ago. I couldn't open the eye at all.”
She cringed, “Harry, that isn't helping me calm down.”
