Chapter 13: Field Trip

"Ah, it's you guys, ohayou", I greet back.

Akashi looked troubled, then he said unexpected things, "You all should get in". Even Ryota, Tetsuya, and I didn't expect this, but of course we accept his offers. We get in his fancy limousine. We started talking about the upcoming trips.
"Hey! Hey! Aren't you excited about this Manacchi!?", Ryota grinned happily."Not really", I yawned.

"You sleep late?", Akashi asked a rather unexpected question, he's weird this lately.

"I played online games until midnight", I smiled sheepishly. "You're hopeless, don't sleep too late or you'll get sick", Akashi lectured me.

"You sure love to give me lectures", I pouted. "Because you're an idiot", Akashi answered bluntly.

"Sorry for the long wait", Akashi greet, along with me, Ryota, and Tetsuya.

"You guys are awfully late, let's go!", Aomine smiled. We get in the bus, I sat near the window, Akashi was next to me, behind me is Tetsuya and Aomine, the other side of their seats are Murasakibara and Midorima, across of my seats are Momoi and Ryota.

The teacher started to absence the students, then we're off.

"Why the heck Akashi sat next to me? What's wrong with this guy?", I gulped nervously.

He concentrate reading his book, which was Sherlock Holmes novels. I never thought he likes that kind of things, I also love novels too. "Why are you staring me?", he sharpened his eyes toward me. "Oh it's nothing...", I stuttered.

"Agh...this is bad, my heart beating faster", I gritted my teeth.

"Mana, do you want some snacks?", Tetsuya called snapped me.

"Snacks? Sure", I picked a piece of potato crisp, Akashi quickly took half of mine. I glared at him. "What?", Akashi stared me blankly.

"I'm sleepy...", I put on my earphones and listened to Dearly Beloved, a soundtrack from Kingdom Hearts game I always played. I feel relaxed listening to it...slowly my eyelids started to heavy...I fell asleep.

-Akashi P.O.V-

"Why am I attached to this girl? Who is she? She's not even equal to me", I thought to myself.

"Seriously...why do you always bother me?", I looked at her, unexpectedly she's sleeping fast.

"Lazy bum", I shook my head.

I can't help but smiled about her, she's clumsy, arrogant, acting all so mighty yet fragile. I quickly started to feel sleepy, I guess I better sleep as well. I closed my book and slowly drifting away in darkness.

-Ryota P.O.V-

"I start to get the feeling that Akashicchi likes her too", I looked at both of them, sleeping soundly.

"Ki-chan, what's wrong? Your eyebrows furrowed", Momoicchi observe me. "Ah it's just that...don't you think Akashicchi and Manacchi is closer than before?", I asked.

"You're jealous Ki-chan~", Momoicchi send me a naughty smiled.

"No, I'm not!", I blushed.

"Geez, you're so easy to read Ki-chan", Momoicchi chuckled slightly.

"But I don't know...I already confess to her, I wonder if she replied back", I fiddle with my fingers.

"Don't worry, you just need to wait right?", Momoicchi tried to cheer me up.

"Not only that, I also wonder if I had a chance against Akashicchi...", I thought deeply.

"If you really love her, you will be fine", Momoi pat my back.
