My sister came up behind me ready to grab me and stop me, "Andrea don't," she pleaded but I was too far gone.

"What is your job Ed? Sitting on your ass all day smoking cigarettes?" He proceeded to make fun of my education and next thing I knew he ordered Carol to get up and go with him. "I don't think she needs to go anywhere with you Ed."

He got closer to my face glaring straight at me and I felt my body tighten up ready for anything, "Now, I don't think it's any of your business, now come Carol!"

I turned as I heard Carol move away from the water and over to her husband, "Carol you don't have to do this."

She looked up at me, then him and then looked down with a solemn expression,"It's ok just let me go."

"But-,"I got cut off as I heard Eds voice behind me, venom practically dripping off his tongue.

"Don't think I won't knock you on your ass just cause you is some college educated coo. Alright?" I scoffed in surprise, what a shock a man who beats his wife would love to beat other women.

"To me that just sounds like jealousy, "I mumbled which he thankfully didn't hear. Where's that girl Glenn likes when you need her, maybe she'd be able to knock some sense into this one like she did Merle!

He pointed at Carol, to which she looked down and walked over to him, "Now you come with me or your gonna regret it later."

"Why Ed? So she can show up with fresh, new bruises all over her later?!" He only laughed at Jacqui's comment angering me more. I stepped forward to grab Carol. "Ya we've seen them Ed! Don't think your actions go unnoticed by any of us!"

"I am done talking, come NOW!" He grabbed onto Carols arm and I instinctively reached forward to pull her back. It seemed my sister and Jacqui had the same idea as we all pleaded her to not go and to stay with us. This seemed to set Ed off as the next thing I knew he had punched Carol in the face sending her straight to the floor. I began to pound on his chest as my sister grabbed Carol , helping her up and pulling her away from this jackass.

"I can't wait till that girl gets back and beats the shit out of you Ed! You're gonna learn quick that your ass can get beat to a pulp too!"

He began to fight through us in an attempt to grab Carol. My sister kept her back as we were all yelling and struggling to push him away. Thankfully this grabbed a nearby Shane's attention and in an instant he came rushing over. He threw his gun on the ground and gripped the back of Ed's shirt. "You come with me!" He wasted no time in forcing him onto the ground, straddling him and punching his face left and right. We all stood back watching as Carol silently wept at what she was watching. Even with all the abuse she faced it hurt her to watch this. At one point it seemed like Shane had gone nuts and just wanted him dead. Not that I completely minded, and we began to yell for him to stop.

Thankfully he did, he made sure to spit in the mans face who struggled to get up and head back to camp in embarrassment. Shane followed after him to make sure he couldn't come back to harass us. With that they both dissapeared.

(Your POV)

"Wait. Let me see if I heard you correctly? You wanna go back to get.. .his....hand? His chopped off hand? His limp rotting no blood flowin hand?" Daryl nodded , no emotion or surprise evident in his eyes causing me to look at him as if he had grown a second head. "And I thought I'd lost it living alone surrounded by the dead, hah!" Still not the most disgusting thing in the world though. "Do we even have time for that?"

I looked over at Rick, he seemed to have finished killing off a walker that had gotten to closee for comfort, "We have to go back actually, Dale's toolbox was left there."
