It Started In A Barn

Chapter 27

“I trust ya.” I said softly

“Then sleep.” She said back as she swept my hair back

I grinned a little before finally drifting off

Zoey's P.O.V

It was nighttime as we then pulled onto a street. Optimus had left a while ago, to go handle several things, but he promised he'd be back.

Drift parked to the side, and his holoform helped me out before set me up on his shoulders. I was quickly met by the sound of cheering, lots of lights and colors, and music.

“Welcome to New Orleans.” Gadget grinned

“Is it always so loud?” I asked as we all started down

There was a lot of crowds. Good thing I was one Drift’s shoulders otherwise I think I would have gotten lost.

“No, we're in the middle of Mari Gras.” Soulspark then said

I nodded as we then headed into a highly lighted area. There was tons of music as people cheered and yelled.

“How are we going to find Bolt in all this!” ‘Bee shouted over the noise

“I think down by the fields.” Queen said

Each of them then forced their way through the crowds. I then understood why this place was the meetup point. Everyone had colored hair or wild colored clothes. The ‘bots holoforms blended in perfectly.

“Primus….that was troubling.” Ironhide said as he shook confetti out of his hair once we made it to the fields of grass, several feet away from the chaos

“Ya tellin’ me.” Crosshairs said as he shook glitter out of his hair

There was then a laugh. I glanced up and with all the lights, saw a guy sitting in the back of a bright red and black GMC Sierra. He had a half drunk bottle on one side of him, and a sleeping puppy on the other side of him,  as he was cleaning out a pistol.

I looked a bit closer and saw the puppy was a Rottweiler pup, with a red bandana like collar.

I also got a better look of his clothing.

He had a red flannel t-shirt and a black jean jacket. And a black, slightly ripped pair of jeans. He also had grey and red high tops on, and a black pair of shades. He was wearing a black cowboy hat and belt as well. Under that hat, I could see was looked like bright red hair. I could also see a lasso attached to his belt.

He seemed like a big mix of cowboy, street fighter, and racer. All in a good way.

He grinned playfully at us, before then spoke, tipping his hat. He had a bit of an accent, like a cowboy kinda.

“Howdy. Miss me, did ya?”

Hiya! Sorry this took so long. As y'all know, school started last week for me so I was a bit busy. Also, amazingly, we made it to 6k!!! It's really appreciated all! Also, sorry if this is scrappy. I'm not currently feeling great, seeing that I feel like I ate ocean waves. Ugh.

Anyway, above is Zoey's outfit, then below is Hound’s and Bolt's holoforms. And then Bolt's alt. And then the three new vehicles. Everything minus he three vehicles belongs to me. I made Hound’s, along with Crosshairs and Drifts awhile ago. I think I'll probably redo those here at some point.
