"Come on, Nia!" Yelled Granit. "We need you for volleyball."

"You really don't," I chuckled. "I'm awful at that stuff. There's a reason I play football, not games that require your arms."

"It's not like the rest of us are any better," Hector laughed. "We were just messing around before and the ball's already been over the pool fence a few times!"

"Hit Sead in the head," Granit smirked.

I dipped a toe in the water to test its warmth, but suddenly, I felt myself being picked up. I squealed in surprise, and looked up to see who it was. No surprise there. Alexis smirked down at me, his brown eyes looking at me innocently.

"Where you goin, huh?"

"Lex!" I yelled at him, in laughter. "Put me down, you idiot!"

In answer, he jumped into the pool, taking me with him. The rush of water cooled my aching muscles, and tugged at my hair, which was braided out of the way. I surfaced, and came face to face with him.

"What is it with you and creeping up behind me!" I laughed.

"It's the hunting instinct kicking in," he shrugged.

"It's the serial killer instinct kicking in!" I retorted.

"I think I'd be worried, Alexis," laughed Hector. "She'll be getting you back for that one, I promise you."

"I'll be ready," he chuckled. "Come on, are we playing volleyball, or what?"

He shook his head to rid the water from his hair, and flicked it all over me in the process. I responded to this by splashing him back, and he tried, and failed to duck out of the way. His brown eyes were alight with amusement, as he lunged towards me. I squealed, and ducked underwater, swimming to the far end of the pool where Hector was sitting on the ledge, his legs dangling in the col water. I jumped out, and sat beside him, looking quickly around for Alexis.

"Dude, help me, I'm scared," I said to Hector. "Where is he?"

"He went inside," Hector shrugged, his expression shining with innocence.

I narrowed my eyes at him suspiciously.

"Hec, you're a good liar, but I've known you for too long."

He laughed at my words.

"Fine," he began, "he's..."

He never got to finish his sentence, as suddenly Alexis was behind me again, both his hands gripping my shoulders.

"You were looking for me?" He laughed.

"Nope! Changed my mind!" I struggled to free myself, but to no avail.

"Well I haven't," he smirked.

"No!" I yelled. "I'm not getting pushed in!"

"On the contrary, I think you are," he chuckled.

"Fine, but you're coming in with me!"

I took hold of his arms, and as I fell, pulled him with me, causing him to overbalance, and splash into the water on top of me. We struggled underwater for a minute, before we both broke the surface of the water once again, laughing.

"That wasn't fair," he complained.

"If we go down, then we go down together," I shrugged, innocently.

"We'll get away with everything, let's show them we are better," sang Granit, with a laugh.

"Ayy," Hector smiled. "Good song."
