The Heart Wants What It Wants ??

Ch. 32

"Well, Judy is my new friend. She kept me company while you were asleep. We made this food together" I smiled brightly.

"That's why it's so delicious. You had something to do with it." He says

"Mhmm. Anyway, can we go to the beach today?" I ask excitedly

"Haha sure. You go get ready; I'm almost finished eating." He says

I grin and rush up to my room. I bought a new bikini the other day while I was out dying my hair. It was a simple navy blue halter bikini. I put on some clothes on top of that before walking downstairs and to the beach.

"Heyo! You ready?" J asks

"Yeah, but can we take some pictures first?" I ask sheepishly

"Yes! That's a great idea!!" He says excitedly

I hand him my phone, and we take some pictures of me by the shore. You'd think it was just 1 to 3 pictures, but no. J made me do a lot of poses, and we took a lot of pictures. After me, I took pictures of him. Looking through the photos now, I gotta say these shots are amazing. It's something you'd see off of Tumblr, Instagram, or Pinterest.

I posted one of my favorites. It was a side shot of me looking out into the ocean. I posted it on my Instagram and captioned it with "What am I thinking about?". As soon as I posted it, J plops down next to me.

"Heya"

"Hiya! Who knew you were so good in taking pictures" I grin at him

"Yeah...I used to love photography before. I learned a lot about it, and I used to take a lot of pictures. I became really good." He says

"So that's why you're so good. It's almost as if a professional photographer took these" I say

"Thank you. Thank you." He bows

"So you ready to swim now?" He asks

"Let's go!"

He stands up and takes off his tank top, revealing his toned abs. I blush bright red and look away. God dang, he's so hot. I'm saving that picture in my head.

"Like what you see?" He smirks

"Cocky" I scoff. That's what I say, but inside I'm drooling. His body was perfectly sculpted. His body was muscular and toned, but not to the point where he looks like a body builder. I shake my head in an attempt to rid my thoughts. I'm stopping here before my mind becomes R-16

I stripped off my own clothes, and immediately felt the cool breeze on my skin.  I felt that, and a pair of eyes looking at me. Glancing over at J, I saw him staring at me. His eyes romed my body from top to bottom. The blush on my face comes back, and I turn away from him.

"Stop staringgg" I whine

"I know I saw it before when we were at the motel, but that was at night. Seeing you in broad daylight is..." He whistles lowly at the end

My blush goes redder, and I throw my tank top at him. He laughs and slings his arm over me. I shrug it off immediately, and rush over to the pool. I hear him running behind me. Once we both hit the water, I turn around and splash him. He laughs and splashes back. I bet you could already tell that it soon turned into a huge splash war.

I laughed out loud as I looked at my hands. The sun has set, and we've been in the water for hours. Now my hands and toes have pruned and wrinkled. It looked like an old witch's hand.

"What's so funny?" J asks

"Check your hands, Grandpa" I laugh

He looks down at his hands and laughs as well.

"Gosh I didn't even realize that we've been staying here for so long" He chuckles

"So you didn't realize that the sun was setting literally right next to us." I looked to our side

"I was too busy winning at volleyball" He smirks triumphantly

"Hey hey hey. We've talked about this. It was a fair draw...but technically I won" I say

"That last part wasn't part of the deal" He laughs

"Really? I'm pretty sure it was" I say

"It wasn't."

"Ah...okay. We'll just add it in there" I say. I felt water splash at me. I immediately splash him back, turning it into the second splash war of the day.

After a few more minutes of splashing, we decided it was finally time to go back inside. The water was getting really cold as well.

We go back inside and took a shower. After showering, I plopped on my bed. I was so tired now. I laid there for a while just replaying the memories of today.

I never would have thought that I could be able to actually hang out with Jaxon Parker. We did hang out before, but there was always something to it. He was only doing it to get something out of me. Hanging out to get something from me or not, J is always so sweet. He maybe a player and a heart breaker, but he knows how to make a girl feel special. A lot of girls dream for the "perfect relationship", and being with Jaxon is like that. He'll treat you like how those guys in stories treat their girls, but once he's got into your pants or got what he wants from you, he breaks your heart in the most painful way possible.

That's why I keep my heart locked up. I've seen and heard what he does to other girls. I don't want to ever go through that. I won't be withhim romantically, but if I be with him as friends, then I can satisfy a little bit of my hearts cravings but not too much.

A knock on the door interrupts my thoughts.

"Come in" I say

J strolls in and plops down on my bed. He lies to face me, and I do the same.

"Why is your bed so comfortable? And it smells so nice too!" He pouts

"I don't know" I laugh

"Why are you laughing? "

"I don't know "

"Why don't you know?"

"I- "

"Don't answer that. I alreadt know what you're gonna say" He says. He gets up and holds his hand out to me.

"Come on, princess. It's time for dinner." He says. I blush and take his hand. I let go as soon as I stand up.

"Hey J?" I say

"Yeah?"

"Race ya!"

I rush out of my room and down the stairs. I reach to the kitchen in no time. Judy was there finishing up the preparations.

"Hi Judy!"

"Hello Harley"

I felt two arms wrap around my waist. J's head laid on my shoulders.

"That was unfair." He says

"I know!" I giggle

"Awww that was so cute." He pokes my cheek

"Stoppp" I whine. He drops his hand but stays in this position.

"Are you going to move?"

"Nah. I quite like this position" He says

Me too...You have no idea how much I love being in your arms like this.
