"Au revoir, Wendy." He said with a smirk when he left the room. I knew this was going to be a long day. Perhaps a good time to make up stories to tell later on. Making up stories will make time fly by, at least I hope it will. I don't have much to do on the ship besides talking to James or Mr. Smee. "Perhaps I should ask James if he could continue teaching me how to use a sword properly." I mumbled to myself. Maybe that way James trusts me to go along with him when I know how to defend myself from danger. However... People would probably think it's very unlady-like. I guess I should try to convince James though, I think it would be very handy. I could learn a few things from the captain in general. I wanted to learn a few things about piracy, things that haven't been written about. That way I can learn to understand James.
-----
It was getting pretty late. James and the pirates he took with him were still away from the ship. I could faintly hear some singing of the remaining pirates on the ship while I was lying on the bed. Perhaps James decided to leave early to set up his plan and just met up with Peter? All I know is that they would meet up in the Black Castle. The last time I went there, Peter taught me some sword fighting before he faced James. I remember how ice cold James' eyes looked back then. Of course he could still have that look in his eyes. His mind is really set on defeating Peter. He lost a hand because of Peter's games. A ticking crocodile that was still there, waiting to eat the rest of James... I honestly think that crocodile would eat anyone if it had the chance.
I slowly sat up and frowned a bit. I kind of expected James to return any moment now. I had the urge to go on deck and see if James and the pirates he took with them were on their way back to the ship. If I would do such a thing James would probably get angry with me. He still doesn't trust his crew around me, especially when he was gone. He would scold me for being disobedient and misbehaving myself. That is the last thing I would want when he comes back. I slowly began pacing around the room, wondering if something had happened. What if Peter had managed to trick the pirates and they fell in the water where the crocodile was waiting for them? Or worse, what if Peter managed to let the crocodile eat James completely? It wasn't like Peter was completely stupid, he could outsmart people now and then... However, he was often just very lucky.
If anyone was unlucky it would be our Captain James Hook. He had never managed to capture Peter. He told me some of his treasures were stolen by Peter as well. No, James wasn't a lucky man. I just hope he will come back soon. I sighed softly, sitting down on the bed again, resting my face on my hands. I have to wait and see what was going on. I need something to pass the time though... Perhaps I should make a story in my head. One about Peter's less pleasant side. Or I should make up another pirate story. Peter Pan, the child who never grew up. The one who doesn't trust or help adults... A childish boy, who doesn't want to deal with feelings.
I was startled when the door opened and I turned my head towards the door. My eyes widened when I saw Mr. Smee trying to help James into the room. "What happened..?!" I asked when I quickly walked over. "Pan..." Hook grumbled. Mr. Smee managed to move James to the bed and then he looked at me. "Peter Pan and the captain were fighting." Mr. Smee said. James gritted his teeth. "That bloody boy tried to feed me to the crocodile...!" He muttered. I frowned, knowing the crocodile was still after James after it ate his hand. Does Peter think feeding someone to the crocodile is a game? That's no fun at all! What if my brothers get hurt because of that? Mr. Smee began treating James' wounds, while I just kept wondering what dangerous things Peter was planning to do with the lost boys and my brothers...
"Mr. Smee, I want you to get out of here and keep an eye on the men. Also make sure they clean their wounds if they have any. We need to check out for Pan's hideout tomorrow." James said. I frowned and put my hands on my hips. "You are insane if you think you can go back out there with those injuries tomorrow." I told him. He just huffed. "I have dealt with worse injuries." He muttered. "That doesn't mean it's a good idea to just go out there." I said seriously. "Wendy, I lost a hand once. Do you honestly think a wound like this would stop me?" He said, glaring at me. Can't he just see I'm concerned about him? He can't honestly think he would be fine by tomorrow, can he? James just looked annoyed. "Hurry up, Smee!" He muttered, when Mr. Smee was finishing cleaning the wound. I could tell James would have a fit if Mr. Smee didn't leave soon.
