Chapter Six - Roller Coaster

After getting dressed I walked into the kitchen, grabbing some Advil, then sat on the couch and watched some retarded cartoon Zoey would probably like. 'I told you it'd be easy...' the words echoed in my mind, making me zone out completely. Briley would never...I mean...he's done it in the past but the past is the past, and we love each other too much to do anything with anybody else. Right? Right...I know I'd never but... I shook my head, this is stupid it's just a dream; theres nothing to worry about.

A door opening broke my trance and I looked over, seeing the person who started this shit in the first place. I ground my teeth and looked away before I felt the need to jump over the couch and attack him. "Briley's not with you hm?" I ignored him and his mocking tone, pretending to pay attention tothis stupid show. "Trouble at home?" He snickered childishly and left; I'm going to commit the perfect crime and kill that guy I swear.

Before I could get too caught up in my anger, my door opened and Briley walked out; rubbing his eyes and looking way too adorable. I looked at him and smiled, all negative thoughts and memories washing away with his innocence. I got up and walked to him, embracing him in a warm hug; he grabbed onto my shirt as I pulled away and looked at me with watery eyes.

"I'm sorry Brody, I'm really really sorry." his tears began to spill over while he talked; I frowned and hugged him tight.

"No, don't apologize Briley, it's okay really. I didn't mean to seem like I was mad at you, I wasn't. I was just...pissed off at Gabriel." I looked down at him and reflected his relieved smile; I bent down and kissed him gently, his smiled got wider along with mine.

"Don't let him get to you anymore kay Brody? He isn't worth it." I nodded; he's right, as long as Briley and I are together no one can get in our way, no one can get to us.

"I am never drinking again!" Briley whined as I walked in to the bedroom with food that he probably wouldn't eat.

"You said that last time." I placed the bowl of soup on the nightstand and flipped the damp cloth over on his forehead.

"Well this time I mean it." I laughed quietly to myself and mhmm'd sitting on the bed by his knees. His hangover wasn't thatbad this time, probbly because he didn't drink as much or didn't drink hard stuff, but he was still acting like a kid. Which was fine with me of course, aside from the fact we can't do anything...it makes sense with the luck I have though, the only day we've had where both roommates are gone Briley is sick.

I sighed just before the door opened and Zoey and Kat came running in, jumping on the bed talking to fast to even understand. I caught 'You poor thing' and something about how lucky he was to have Tyler with him at the time. I pinched the bridge of my nose, trying to refrain from getting pissed off again. I know he took care of him but...I still don't like him, at all. "Hey how're you Briley?" I looked over at Tyler who stood in the doorway; the other three looked at him and smiled, I grunted and made sure to keep my eyes off him. Childish I know but when Briley smiles at some other guy like that...I get jealous.

"Aside from having a horrible hangover, I'm okay. Thanks for taking care of me..." Tyler walked in and smiled at us, I busied myself by grabbing the cloth and getting it cold again. The four of them started talking, and I swear Zoey and Kat were flirting with him. Well that's nice, these jackasses are going to ruin everyone’s relationships.

"Hey, Taylor Launtner wannabe, move." I looked into the room and almost started laughing when Ryan looked at Tyler with an agitated expression; I guess he saw what was happening too.

"Ryan! Jesus, Tyler's a nice guy." Kat rolled her eyes and started to apologies when Ryan cut her off.

"Get your hulk ass outta here, let me see Briley, who's hungover because you were stupid enough to let him drink." I leaned on the doorframe with a smirk on my face, Zoey, Kat and Briley all looked shocked while Ryan seemed to be fairly pleased with himself. Tyler shrugged and turned to the others.
