Chapter Forty-Nine: Ditch With Me

Start from the beginning

"Why are we sitting so far away?" Aiden asked, confused. I chuckled nervously, "Well it's a actually a pretty long story, you see I-" I said before gasping and ducking down under the table.

"Cam- Camryn!" Aiden whisper shouted. "Are you high, what are you do-"

"Shh!" I said loudly to him. He held his hands up in defense and looked away.

I saw the same guy that served me my coffee last time, and also called the cops on me before I ran back home...

"Is he gone?" I whispered to Aiden, "Who's he? Camryn c'mon get-"

"Hey you, girl under the table!" Someone shouted. Aiden immediately stood up and faced the worker.

"What seems to be the problem?" Aiden asked nervously. I smiled sheepishly from under the table, waving at the waiter awkwardly.

"Uh, that girl right there," the waiter said with one hand on his hip and the other pointing a finger at me.

"Is banned from this bakery, last time she was here she beat up some poor, innocent girl." He frowned.

"Woah, woah, woah," I started as I got up from under the table and sassily put my hands on my hips.

"Let's get one thing straight, Marilyn is not innocent, she's a hoebag who likes to steal my boyfriends! And, uh, second of all, no one here told me I was banned." I said with a hair flip.

"Yeah, that's probably because you ran right when I called the cops!" The waiter replied, "Now get out, shoo." He said as he made a shooing motion with his hands.

I sadly walked out of the bakery with Aiden by my side, our fingers intertwined with each other's.

"Wanna tell me what that was about?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. I sighed deeply, "That's a story for another time."

We went back to school because my mom would absolutely, one hundred percent murder me (even though before she came back I didn't go to school for like, what, a month?)

I was singing quietly to myself as I swinged my hand that was holding onto Aiden's back and forth, making his hand swing with mine.

"Your girl call me 'papi chulo'," I sang to myself. "What did you just say?" Aiden asked, shocked yet amused. "Huh, nothing." I smiled brightly towards him.

I smiled as I tightened my grip on Aiden's hand, making him smile softly. "Sweet like candy, but he's such a man." I sang. "He knows just what it does when he's holding me tight and he calls me 'moonlight' too."

"Well, here's your class." I sighed sadly with a frown and puppy eyes. "Do you really have to go to class?" He asked.

I planted a kiss on his left cheek, frowning afterwards. "Yes, I'm sorry baby. I got to go, my mom would stab me."

He sighed as he ran a hand through his pitch black hair. He looked away for a moment, but as I was about to enter my class, he spun me around and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I rested my palms on his shoulders, my knees going weak. "Ditch with me," He said.

I have him a weird look, my hands going off his shoulders. "Why are you pushing this?" I asked.

He sighed, his head lifting away from me and his eyes darting in the other direction. "I just want to be with you-"

"Since when do you not? Why are you acting like this?" I backed away from him. He looked back at me with his hands resting on his hips, leaving my questions unanswered.

"I'm going to class now, peace out." I said as I rolled my eyes and entered my classroom, leaving Aiden alone in the hallway.

Aiden's pov

I sat in my car, my hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly that my knuckles turned white. Andrew had called me earlier telling me Ariana was at my house and wanted to talk to me.

I was hoping to avoid her, for, well, the rest of my life. But this bitch just doesn't know when to quit. I guess some just don't know how to.

I pulled into my driveway, my mom working as always. We used to be so close, but ever since my dad turned into a dickwad, it's just been work, work, and work for her.

I exited my car and went inside, only to be greeted with emptiness. I sighed and rolled my eyes, running my fingers through my hair and walking in the direction of the kitchen, throwing my car keys onto the table.

The sound of footsteps echoed in my empty house, making me freeze. I immediately grabbed a kitchen knife, ready to attack whatever intruder was in my house.

"Calm down, lover boy, drop your weapon." The recognizable voice called as Ariana came out from the shadows and towards me.

I set down the knife, but didn't put it away just in case I have to stab a bitch, as my shoulders tensed.

She sighed as she walked towards me, her thigh high heels tapping against the wooden floors.

"We need to talk."
