"Dude, seriously?! A tomato?! At least have the decency to throw blue food at me!" Persia whined. Wasn't blue food Percy's thing though? No one seemed to noticed as they either continued to laugh or chat with their bunk-mates.
Persia was way to much like Percy. Nico pulled Persia down by the arm and whispered something in her ear, making her blush a dark, dark red and him and Hazel, who apparently heard, burst into laughter. I scowled down at my food, jealous of Nico. How did he suddenly become such good friends with Persia so quick? I abruptly stood and stormed out of the dining pavilion, furious.
Persia's POV
Jason abruptly stood across the dining pavilion, storming out of the dining pavilion. I glanced at the people who knew about my change, but they looked confused as well. Except Piper. "C'mon." I grabbed Nico and Hazel's hand, dragging them over to the Aphrodite table. Once there I quickly let go of Nico and Hazels hands.
"What happened?" I whispered to Piper.
"He's jealous. Of you and Nico." She whispered back. I groaned, pinching the bridge of my nose.
"What's going on?" Nico asked.
"Jason's jealous. Of me and you." I said with a sigh. Nico raised an eyebrow, then took my hand and started dragging me away.
"Nico- What are you doing?" I asked.
"Shh." He whispered and continued to drag me. I looked back and saw everyone staring with confused expressions. I shrugged and Nico dragged me to the beach.
He looked around, making sure no one around. "Percy, do you know what Jason's going to do when he find out the 'girl' he's crushing on is really his best friend?"
I shrugged. "No, but it doesn't sound good."
"Exactly. You being a girl isn't the curse she gave you. It's what you being a girl is going to cause." He looked at me expectantly and it clicked.
"She's trying to drive me away from my friends. She's driving us apart!" I exclaimed.
Leo's POV (Did you see that coming?)
I was about to go to the beach when I saw Nico drag Persia to the beach. I was no Nico, but I tried to hide in the shadows. He looked around like checking for someone before talking in a hushed whisper. "Percy, do you know what Jason's going to do when he find out the 'girl' he's crushing on is really his best friend?"
Hold up, did he just call Persia Percy? Persia shrugged. "No, but it doesn't sound good."
"Exactly. You being a girl isn't the curse she gave you. It's what being a girl is going to cause." So... Wait. Persia is Percy? Nico looked at her expectedly and her eyes widened.
"She's trying to drive me from my friends! She's driving us apart!" Persia, now known as Percy exclaimed.
"Exactly. Tension between Leo and Jason was already high, and now Jason is going to hold a grudge against me for being friends with you." Nico told he- Err, him.
Persia sighed. "What if I left? There would be no reason for my friends to fight and everything would be back to normal. You and Will would still be together, Jason and Piper, Leo and- Well, Leo will stay Leo."
"No, bad thinking. Nothing would be normal Percy. What about Annabeth?" Nico scolded.
"I mean... I would hate to leave her... But it's the best for all of us, isn't it?" Percy asked.
"No you idiot! You suffered this curse because you wouldn't break up me and Will, wouldn't that beat the purpose. Why didn't you break me and Will up, Percy?"
"Because I didn't want to see you upset after you had finally found happeiness." She mumbled.
"Okay. And what would I be if you left?"
"Uh... I don't know."
"Upset you moron!" Nico shouted. "Everyone would be upset!"
Percy flinched. "Right. So... What am I supposed to do? There really is no solution if you won't let me leave, so..."
Nico sighed. "I don't know Percy. Just... I'll think about it. I'll try to talk to Jason, talk some sense into him. Go console Piper. I'm sure she's a bit shaken up right now." Percy nodded, rubbing her face before walking away. Nico headed in the opposite direction.
I ran after Percy once Nico was out of sight. No way I was going to let this slide. Once I saw he-rim I sped up so I was walking next to him. He frowned when he saw me. "What do you want?" He muttered.
I frowned. "C'mon, lighten up!"
"I can't." he muttered.
"C'mon, being a girl can't be that bad can it?" I asked. She frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"You know, that over night change?" I asked.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." He replied stiffly.
"Yeah, well I think you do Percy."
He froze dead on the spot and slowly turned to look at me. Then he clasped a hand over my mouth and dragged me to the dining pavilion, where Will, Hazel, Piper and Annabeth stood. He grabbed the back of my shirt and shoved me in their direction, making me stumble. "He knows." He growled, crossing his arms over his chest.
Then something clicked. "Hold up, I asked you out." I said, pointing at Percy.
"Yes you did." He replied stiffly.
"He what!?" Annabeth and Hazel yelled before they all burst into a fit of giggles. I could feel my face burning.
"So tell me, Leo." Piper said. "What made you like Persia?"
This time I stiffened. "Uh..."
She repeated it, only I could feel charmspeak. Much to my dismay, I replied. "She's beautiful and has the perfect personality."
"Well, Percy kept his personality, so... Did you like Percy before Leo?" Hazel asked.
"Not that I knew of." I muttered, rubbing the back of my neck nervously.
"Well well well, so Percy's back, huh?"
We all spun around to see who the voice was and froze, except Percy and Will, who growled dangerously. "Aphrodite." They growled in synch.
