Chapter 21

Mr.Kim POV

Naera went disappear to her room.

"Well, Joohyuk. Remember, this is your opportunity to get close to her at least make her like you. Then, slowly make her fall in love. When that happens, i'll set the date of the engagement right away!" I said to remind him about our plan.

"Of course, Uncle. I'll do my best" he said and smile. I nodded and went to find Jimin.

"Jimin?" I called out and he quickly walks towards me. That was fast.

"Yes, sir?"

"Naera will go out with Joohyuk so you don't have to follow her for today. Let them be alone. Understand?" I command.

"Affirmative, sir" he said

"We're not soldiers" i chuckled and left him. Honey, i promise you that our daughter will marry with your choice. I promise to keep her safe and happy for you. I hope you can watch her on her wedding day with your choice. I will not let you down, Hon.

Jimin POV

After Mr. Kim left, i sighed loudly. I guess that Joohyuk guy was the one for her. I shouldn't fall for her! I supposed to know this would happened! I've been here! It's deja vu. I'm here again. Hurting myself again. I should've hold on to my words which will keep us safe. Be professional, nothing personal. Now, i'm the one hurting. Shit!

"Hyung?" I ignored Jungkook and went into the car. "Where are you going,hyung?". I started the engine and drove out from the mansion.

"I should've hold on to it!" I hit the wheel hard. "You should've known better, Jimin!" I hit once again. "Jimin! You idiot! Look who's hurting now?!" And again. "You promise yourself to not fall in love with your client!" Again. "You even warning Taehyung and Jungkook!" And again. I stop at the side of the road before i let my temper took control over me.

I rest my forehead onto the wheel and sighed. "Jimin, you don't deserve them. You and them are totally in different standards, levels. You told yourself this, once" i let another sighed. "Jimin, Jimin, the idiot one"

Naera POV

I went out with Joohyuk like dad suggested. We went to an amusement park. We played 5 attracting games and it was fun. But it was different. I notice that we weren't followed by the bodyguard. That was missing, Jimin. I almost forgot that he was with Hwamin. First love. No one could ever forget their first love, not even me.

"Naera? Are you listening?" Joohyuk snapped his finger in front of my face.

"Uh.. Sorry.. I.. What did you said?" I asked.

"I asked if you have a boyfriend?" He asked or more to repeat his question. I frowned as i found that his question was a bit strange.

"No, why do you ask?" I asked back in curiosity by his previous question.

He smiled and turned his gaze to the front while saying "just asking" he turned  to me again and wink. I felt very uncomfortable so i distance myself from hi a bit to creat a gap.

"You know, your father may like me as your husband" he suddenly stated. I felt so cringe that time like he was compliment himself.

"Why did you think that?" It was so sudden that he suddenly stated that. He have no shame at all. He's a bit different now.

"Because, i'm your father's favourite. I got all what he need" he eulogize himself again.

"Stop it, your cringing me"i stated.

"It's the fact that you have to accept" he said and laughed.

Joohyuk POV

I faked laugh and stopped as it became awkward. I only saying that to make her hate me. So, she would against this wedding. I can't do it. I'm that kind of person who follows their parents favour. And their favour were,  wanting me to marry her despite i have a girlfriend which i planned to propose her. This thing just ruined everything.
