LOVE IN THE AIR - A DEVAKSHI SS {{COMPLETED}}

PART 3 - THE ARGUMENT

"Arey Avni, Tu aa gayi. Chal der ho rahi hai. Humey chalna chahiye" Dev said as internally he was thanking god that Avni just came at right time to take him out of the Situation.

"Kya Chalna chahiye, pehle apni doosri galti ki maafi maango ussi ke baad tum jaa saktey ho" Sonakshi said as he stood in front of Dev folding her arms to prevent him from going.

"Arey ajeeb ladki hai aap, Main ney already aap se maafi maang li hai. Abb phir sey kiss baat ki maafi maang ney ke liye keh rahi hai aap" Dev asked in a surprised tone as he looked towards Avni hoping that she takes him out of this situation, but it seemed she was enjoying seeing her friend in the sticky situation. She had never seen Dev getting stuck in such a place and that too with a stranger and now that she was seeing it never was she going to stop it as it would be her ammunition to tease him in the future. She royally ignored Dev and turned towards Sonakshi.

"Mujhey giraney ke liye, Uss baat ki maafi" Sonakshi replied with a smirk.

"Main ney aapko kab giraya" Dev said astounded.

"Arey tab jab aapney mujhey pakad ke rakha tha girney se bachaney ke liye lekin agle hi pal mujhey chod diya jiski wajah se main gir gayi aur mujhey chot lag gayi" she said as she rubbed her shoulders dramatically to indicate it to him the hurt because of the fall.

"Arey lekin aap hi ney toh Bola tha Chodney ke liye iss liye main ney chod diya" he replied in an innocent tone as he looked at her. Avni could not control herself anymore and burst out laughing while unknowingly a smile crept on Sonakshi's lips listening to the innocent tone in which Dev had replied.

"Avni, Tu has kyun rahi hai. Yahan kya koi Mazak chal raha hai" Dev asked her sonorously.

"Usney tujhey chodney bola aur tuney chod diya? I mean seriously, agar ussey girana hi tha toh pakda hi kyun tha. Galti teri thi aur tujhey maafi maangni Chahiye" she said leaving Dev flustered while Sonakshi smirked victoriously at him seeing that his friend her was supporting her.

"Haan, Dekhiye naa aapkey dost ne mujhey gira diya aur ab mujhsey argue kar rahey hai. Ek simple sorry hi toh bolna hai inhey" Sonakshi said as Dev threw up his hands in defeat. It seemed to him that everyone was against him and not finding any other way to get out of the situation he decided to apologize.

"Accha Miss. I am sorry. Bhale hi meri galti nahi thi phir bhi I am really sorry. Now can you just leave us. We have got a flight to catch" Dev said apologizing to Sonakshi.

"Haan toh jaaiye naa, Roka kisney hai aapko. Main ney aapki maafi accept kar li hai" she replied as Dev rolled his eyes. He held Avni's hand and left before Sonakshi could start again. And right on que Meera asked Sonakshi to hurry up as it was almost time for them to leave for the aircraft for the Pre-Boarding arrangements.

As Dev and Avni moved towards their flight he was grumpy at the fact that Avni had supported that girl instead on him.

"Tu gussa hai mujhsey?" asked Avni keeping her hand on his shoulder.

"Main kaun hota hoon tujhsey gussa honey wala" he shot back removing her hand from his shoulder

"Dev, sorry na Yar. Par mujhey uss waqt kafi maza aa raha tha. I mean Dev Dixit, the great Dev Dixit jo apney parivar aur doston ke alava kabhi kisi sey maafi nahi maangta. Wo aaj ek anjaan ladki se maafi maang raha tha wo bhi ek nahi do do baar. Ye toh Dekhna banta tha na. Aur pata hai gussey main tu kitna cute lag raha tha" she said as she pulled his cheeks. She knew this trick would work on her friend and it did. Dev looked at her and smiled as he remembered the incident but more importantly the girl and her eyes which left Avni perplexed.

"Arey waah, Tu toh smile kar raha hai. Aisi kya baat thi uss ladki main" she said raising her brows.

"Kya kuch bhi, koi baat nahi thi" he blabbered.

"Waisey, Hua kya tha ki wo tujhsey maafi maang ney ke liye keh rahi thi" she asked him wanting to what exactly had happened. As Dev told what exactly had transpired she went into another bout of laughter as Dev shot an angered look at her.

"Hasna band kar aur chal, I hope main uss Sherni se phir kabhi naa takraoon" he said as he held Avni's hand and dragged her towards the Boarding gate.

While on the other hand as Sonakshi and Reena were moving towards their colleagues Reena asked her " Waisey Sonakshi, Tum itna gussa kyun ho rahi thi uss becharey par. Uski toh poori galti bhi nahi thi"

"Kya matlab poori galti nahi thi. Dekha nahi kitna oversmart ban raha tha. Kehta hai ki Aapney mujhey chodney ko kaha toh main ney chod diya" she replied mimicking Dev as Reena burst out laughing.

"Sach main Sonakshi, tum na ekdam alag ho. Tum toh ussey aisey maafi maang ney ke liye keh rahi thi jaisey ki wo Tumhara Boyfriend ho aur tum uss sey maafi mangney ke liye iss liye keh rahi thi ki taaki tum maan jao" she said controlling her laughter as Sonakshi gave her an angered look.

"Waisey Banda tha bohut handsome, hai na?" added Reena as Sonakshi looked stumped. Now that she remembered back the incident she was surprised at her behavior, never had she behaved like that in public but somehow that man affected her in such a way that she had behaved with him as if he was her close one. And now that she thought she could not help but agree to Reena's words that Man was indeed handsome, the dark brown eyes, broad jawline and then the tall muscular build. But then she brushed aside her thoughts scolding herself mentally for thinking about him.

"Kya kuch bhi bol rahi hai, I just hope main uss Obhodro se phir kabhi na Takraoon" she replied as they proceeded towards the flight. On reaching, her colleagues enquired on why they were late and as Reena rattled off the happenings everyone looked at Sonakshi in surprise and then laughed out just as the Captain and the First officer arrived as everyone greeted them while Sonakshi introduced herself and wishing her good luck everyone proceeded towards the flight for the Pre-Boarding arrangements.

The boarding had just started and Sonakshi was standing at the Front door of the aircraft greeting the passengers with a smile on her face while at the same time Dev and Avni were just a few metres away from the entrance of the aircraft. Right at that moment Dev who was smiling at Avni's talks shot a glance at the entrance as at the same moment Sonakshi moved her eyes to look at the incoming passengers. And that was the moment the two pair of eyes met one another as unknowingly a smile formed on their face. But the very next moment the same words escaped from both.

"PHIR SE"
