Chapter 25

"Dad! I have something to tell you!" Naera said happily. I was about to leave but she holds my hand. I frowned.

"Ahh, Naera" Mr. Kim stops his work and look at us. "Naera, what's happening?" he frowned too.

"Dad, i want you to met my boyfriend! I want to marry him" she suddenly said.

I was shocked same with Mr. Kim.

"Naera, what are you doing?" i asked. Shit! I'm going to get fired.

"What?! Jimin? Is that true?" he looked at me. I didn't know what to say. Wether lying or saying the truth. I might hurt everyone's feeling

"Yes! Dad it is!" Naera answered instead of me. He walked forward towards me.

"So, you've been dating my daughter? All this time? Were you even guarding her?" he asked firmly.

"Yes, Mr. Kim" if i want to be with her, i must do something. Don't be afraid of rejection, be afraid of not taking the chance and this is your chance, Jimin!

I hold her hand even tighter.

"Mr. Kim, i did my duty, protecting her and guarding her. I thought she was the worst, rude and brutal girl i have ever met. But i kept guarding her and always there by her side made me felt something weird. That feeling of happiness that she was beside me. When she got kidnapped, i was so worried and i almost blame myself for not doing my job right. I thought i was afraid of losing my job but instead, i was afraid of losing her.

I may not as rich as you, i can't afford big mansion and gave her expensive things that she want but i can give her my love, heart, trust and soul. I don't want anything from her nor you, i just want her love and your blessing for us to be together. I can protect her with all my life. I would die, cry for her. I can make her happy. I promise to never let you down, Mr. Kim"

He nodded and looked at Naera.

"Are you sure you want to marry him?" he asked. My eyes widened. She nodded eagerly.

"Yes dad!" her tears rolling down her cheeks.

"You said to me to trust you, and i will" he said and smiled at us.

"Set the date and let me settle everything" he said. Naera let go of my hand and hugged his dad tight.

Mr. Kim broke the hug and went to me. I was nervous but then he hugged me to. I hugged him back.

So after that day, Mr. Kim asked me to quit my job and work for him at his company. I hesitated because i really love my job as bodyguard but also i love Naera. I willing to do everything for her so i agree.

Naera POV

After few months of waiting, today was supposed to be our special and memorial day. I was being make up by a make up professional and my hair was already done. I was so excited when i wore the wedding dress that Jimin picked.
