《Chapter 12》

Jiyeon was also trying her best not to laugh.

Chanyeol gave him a questioning look.

"It really does suit you." Baekhyun burst into laugher along with Jiyeon.

"I don't see what's so funny." Chanyeol pointed glaring at both of them.

"But honestly dude,sometimes people can just give you weird nicknames just because they want to, and they don't always match the person but it's still funny and it's even funnier when it suits you."

You just watched them making fun of each other.

After what happened the other day you slowly opened up a little bit to Baekhyun and to Chanyeol too without being aware of it but you felt more comfortable with Baekhyun. Even though you didn't tell him anything personal but you were throwing harsh jokes on him and giving more answers to his questions. Something you always did with people you get along with, like Jiyeon. You were honestly surprised that you smiled at him that day. Your smile was something so rare and only people you considered got that. Yet he did.

You didn't hate him anymore. You didn't even hate him from the first place but you just said that to keep him away. What you didn't know is that it was useless with him. It still always intrigued you how he always stuck to you even though he knew you didn't want him around. You tried everything to keep him away. Being rude to him, being harsh on him, avoiding him.... Everything you could do. You thought it would work.

But you were wrong.

He was still always around following you like a puppy. You decided to just give up trying and thought he will soon get enough of going after you and move on to something else.

Then again you were wrong.

The days slowly passed and it was finally the last day of the week. You decided to sleepover at Jiyeon's place.

The bell rang, indicating that the day was finally over, which brought excitement feels to the students as it became noisy around.

You got up and organised your stuff neatly before slowly quitting the classroom. You waited for Jiyeon at the gate as planned so you can go to your apartment together. You were going there first so you could change into casual clothes and grab your pyjamas.

She soon arrived and smiled brightly at you.

"Let's go!" She cheered and you both started making your way home.

"What can we do? Watch a movie? Be creative? Cook? Play video games? Do girly and beauty stuff, like doing masks and all those fun stuff? What do you wanna do?" Jiyeon attacked you with suggestions.

"I'd love to do all those things. But first I want to talk a little bit." You stated.

"Go ahead." She nodded, and said with a serious face.

You took a deep breath.

"You know. That girl of that incident.....that happened... like a few weeks ago.....hmm Chaerin."

"Yes." She said seeming like she knew what you were about to say.

"She reminds me of someone."

"I think I know who you're talking about."

You looked at her.

"Auntie. Right?"

You nodded slowly. You ran a hand through your hair.

"I don't know. Her voice is so much like her and she looks like her. Her way of talking and acting. I mean when she talked quietly to me, ..... I felt like it was mom standing right in front of me." You felt your eyes slowly getting a little bit teary. "It felt so calming. It brought back a lot of memories."

"She looks so much like her."

"Do you think they're somehow related?" She asked quietly putting a hand on your knee.

You shook your head "I don't know."

She nodded in understanding and remained silent, you blinked the tears.

"Let's change the subject for now. How are things going with Chanyeol?" You spoke after minutes of silence.

She smiled and hugged a pillow. "He's wonderful and really sweet but he can be really annoying sometimes. We always have small conflicts." She pouted slightly.

"This just shows how much you love each other and are starting to get used to each other." You smiled warmly at her.

She blushed a little bit "And he always calls me shorty." She complained again.

You just chuckled at that.

"But I really do love him. I really love how he can turn from the cute and excited Chanyeol to a manly one. He shows me every day how I'm the only one who owns him. And how much he loves me too."

You couldn't help but smile at her and just be happy for her. It was one of the best things for you to see her so happy.

"Oh yeah right." She suddenly exclaimed. She pointed at you.

"You still haven't told me how you found the music box."

"And I don't think I'm planning on telling you any sooner."

"Come on. Oh and right, you've changed your way of talking with Baekhyun too. Is there anything I don't know?"

"No there-"

"Of course, there is. What am I even saying? Anyway, now tell me. What happened?"

"Nothing happened, Jiyeon." You lied.

"Nothing?! You getting nicer to Baekhyun. Refusing to JUST tell me how you found the music box. You can't lie to me. It's too obvious that something happen.....ed" She paused. She suddenly snapped two fingers. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped and she seemed like she just realized something. Oh, please no.

"Baekhyun is the one who found it!" She squealed.

"How could I be so stupid it's so obvious. Baekhyun found it and gave it to you so you finally realized that he wasn't so bad and changed your way of talking to him. And just so I wouldn't try to tease you, you decided to not tell me about it."

"Are you done?"

"See. I told you he wasn't so bad." She smiled blissfully.

"But wait how did he find it? How did he know it was for you? How did he know it was what you lost?" She asked.

"How he found it, he decided not to tell me. How he knew it was mine, well I guess he saw it that other day. He found me once in an empty class, I was holding it so I guess he saw it. And how- Wait what? You told him I lost something?"

"Well....."

"You told him."

"He asked what was bothering you and it would be stupid to act like I don't know when I know and they know that I know. Wow too many 'know's "

You shook your head and sighed softly. "Anyway, let's do something. What do we do?"

"Popcorn and movie time." She cheered.
