"Why isn't Cala in charge? She's the oldest." You asked him.

"Zane is the oldest man in the house and your mother and I both know Cala can get to be a bit much." You thought about it for a moment and already completely agreed, nodding to show you understood.

"Anyway, you will listen to him right?" Your mom asked.

"I will." You promised. They smiled again.

"Good, now we've gotta get packing. Be good while we're gone and be careful." She said.

"You be careful too." They chuckled. Your mother walked over and kissed the top of your head.

"We will."

"And if it comes to swimming back to Berk, then I will! I promise we'll make it back." Your dad said. You smiled, picturing that seen very clearly and giggling to yourself at the idea.

"I have no doubts."

"Alright, now off to bed with ya." Your father chuckled and you obeyed, heading up to your room and quickly getting ready to get a good night's sleep. If you had known what was bout to happen, you wouldn't have slept at all that night.

*The next day*

You were out collecting herbs for Gothi. Dragon training would start tomorrow since the ships left tonight. Suddenly you heard a roar. It sounded like it was in distress. You cautiously went to check it out. You froze in terror as you peeked out from behind a rock. It was a rare dragon called the Armor Blade. (You'll see why.)

You then saw that its wing was trapped under a rock. You felt kinda bad for it. That has to hurt. What if her bone is broken? Gosh, that's terrible. How will she fly like that?

You came out from behind the rock and its icy blue gaze locked on you. It didn't look too threatening right now, but you knew that one wrong move and it'd look terrifying. Armor Blades had all different kinds of defense and fighting skills since their skin was smooth like a dolphin's, leaving them slightly more vulnerable to bite infections and such.

One defense was scaring or threatening their enemy

One defense was scaring or threatening their enemy. Right now it looked normal, but if threatened two large pincer-like blades would come out of side glands on its head and it would make a noise at you while showing its now bared snake-like fangs along with two rows of smaller razor-sharp teeth. Vikings have been known to flee in terror at this horrifying glare.
