Chapter Twenty-Five: A Dangerous Ex

"No honey I'll be back till night time..Go ahead and deliver the letter to Lina and then go out to eat because I won't be coming home to cook food" She said while taking out cash from her purse. She gave me the money along with a hug and a kiss on the forehead. "Be safe honey..And James please drive safely" She said while patting him on the shoulder. Both James and I confusingly stared at her as she drove away in a hurry.

James- What the fuck was that?...Is she on drugs?

Jazmin- Funny..*Rolls Eyes

James- (Before she walked away from me again I quickly grabbed her by the arm)...Baby let me take you to school..

Jazmin- I'm just your neighbor remember?..*Pulls Away

James- FUCK!...I know I messed up...But listen I clarified to her where you stand in my life alright?

Jazmin- Yeah a little too late don't you think!?

James- Get in my car I'll take you..

Jazmin- I rather walk!

James- (I pulled her from the hand towards my car)

Jazmin- James I swear I'll punch you!!!...Let go of me!

James- Nope..Not until you chill out..

I aggressively pinched him in the arm. As soon as he let go I swung my fist across his face while yelling "DON'T TOUCH ME!".

James- *Laughs....Alright I deserved that..

Jazmin- You're so freaking annoying! (I continued to walk away from him as he stood still watching me)

James- Babe!...Did I tell you how hot you look walking away..Damn that ass..*Smirks

Jazmin- (He is such a pig!)....Well take a really good look at it because you won't be getting anywhere near it!

James- (I ran behind her and took her in my arms again this time holding her tightly)

Jazmin- (Our eyes met while my hands hit his chest trying to pull away from his tight grip)..I don't even want to see you right now James!...You have no idea how I feel..

James- I'll explain everything baby..Just please don't push me away..

I saw the fear in his eyes of the possibility of losing me. The pain in my heart was unbearable I felt like someone stabbed me. Yet once again I felt insecure about myself. Was I really enough for him? Why did he get all nervous around that girl? and why didn't he say I was his girlfriend?. All these questions came lingering in my mind as I looked deep into his eyes noticing all the regret he held. After our meaningful time we had spent the day before, I couldn't bare to stare at him any longer. So I dropped my look and turned away from him.

James- Jazmin I really am sorry...I know I messed up..I shouldn't have said you were just a neighbor..I was just caught off guard that's all..

Jazmin- You aren't caught off guard when it comes to claiming me though right?...I mean the announcement you made at school to clarify to all the guys that I belong to you now..But you couldn't do the same in front of that girl..Why James?

James- She's not important alright?.. I don't want to argue with you about this...Can we please put this behind us?

Jazmin- Who is she??

James- A Nobody..That's who she is..Can we please move on from this?

Jazmin- Why are you acting this way? Look at you..She really did make an impression on you..
