Hospital

"When you screamed for help, which I am assuming you did, you damaged your vocal cords really badly. This means, that you won't be able to sing for a while with out being in extreme pain but you will be able to sing again if you choose to but I would suggest that you don't to prevent anymore damage" When she told me this, tears formed in my eyes. What news could be worse then that? I questioned my self.

"and the other sad news is that we couldn't save the both of you" She said quietly. I furrowed my eyebrows at her.

"Both?" I whispered.

"Your baby Olivia. You were pregnant, about eight weeks along and we couldn't save your child. I'm sorry" When she told me this I was completely shocked. I sat there, wide eyed as she looked at me surprised as well. "You didn't know?" She asked, I just shook my head. "Didn't you notice that you didn't have your period?" She asked me.

"I did, but because I was so busy with the tour and the recording I forgot about it. Plus sometimes my period wouldn't come. Like I just wouldn't get it or it would be extremely light. We talked to the doctor and she said that it was a normal thing, it was just rare" I choked out.

"Well, I am sorry. I will just go get your friends"

"Just Luke" I whispered and she nodded before standing up and walking out. A few moments later Luke walked in quickly and sat down where the doctor was just seated.

"What happened?" He asked me.

"I fractured two ribs. Damaged my vocal cords so I can't sing anymore and lost a baby. Luke I was pregnant" I whispered to the father of my now dead child.

"W-what? You can't have been.. We used protection" he said quietly as he took my hand in his carefully. I shrugged my shoulders and couldn't help the tears welling up in my eyes. "It's okay baby, let it out" Luke whispered as he squeezed my hand lightly. Tears started to fall down my cheeks. Now that the oxygen mask was gone, it was quieter in the room. "Liv, it's okay. It's not the end of the world. We will get through this, together. I promise you" Luke whispered, his eyes closing as tears formed.

"It's not okay though Luke. My singing career is over. I lost a child- we lost a child that we didn't even know we had. This is horrible" I said quietly as tears continued to fall.

"I know and I am sorry that this had to happen Liv. I really am, but we need to accept what happened and move on" Luke said. "Come on, try and get to sleep" Luke told me. I laid my head back against the pillow and luckily sleep took over.

"Is she okay?" I heard a voice ask.

"Yeah just upset" Another voice choked out.

"Okay, well are you okay?"

"No" Luke whispered. I opened my eyes and saw Luke looking at the others with tear filled eyes. I squeezed his hand lightly in mine which caused him to look at me. "hey baby, are you okay?"

"I'm hungry" I whispered.

"okay, I will go-"

"I got it. It's okay" Ashton said sadly before walking out quickly. I squeezed Luke's hand as I tight as I could in my weakened state.

"Don't worry baby, we will get through this. I know we will" Luke whispered. He stood up and pressed a light kiss to my lips. "I love you"

"I love you too" I whispered. I looked over to Calum and Michael who were standing near the window.
