Chapter 4: After The Fact

You constantly questioned about your feelings for Fuyuhiko. You had never felt love before, so this new feeling made no sense to you.

You were always hollow. Sad. Empty. Happiness would come every once in a while. But, LOVE? That was a whole new thing to you. What is it?

"ARGH, SHIT!" Fuyuhiko yelled. His character crashed and died.

"That's what you get for not paying attention and staring at Y/N!" Nekomaru scolded.

"Tch- I WAS NOT-!" Fuyuhiko shot back, gripping the controller a little too hard.

"You two, please! WE are trying to play attention too, you know!" Mahiru scolded loudly.

Fuyuhiko just turned his head away and continued playing the game.

You heard what Nekomaru said. He was staring at you? He couldn't pay attention? But how..? You couldn't help but blush again.

SLAM!

"Time for Lunch!" Teruteru and Hiyoko yelled in unison, as they kicked the door open.

"Itadakimasu!" You all said, except you just whispered.

You dug into the food fast, since you couldn't eat in the morning because of nausea. The food tasted amazing to you. You and Akane both asked for seconds in a matter of seconds. (Lol)

Fuyuhiko took a few plates of food to catch up to you. He wanted to win you over, maybe?

"Mmmmm~ it's amazing, Teruteru! What's in it?" You asked, food in your mouth still.

"Why, only the finest of ingredients! My cooking is so amazing, your panties would drop!" He replied.

It took you a few seconds before you responded, "Teruteru, you are so lucky that I am too caught up with my hunger to kill you right now."

A few minutes passed by. Suddenly, you felt ill, and so did everybody else.

Your breathing slurred heavily. Your eyes fluttered bashfully.

"What did you put in it, Teruteru?!" You scolded.

"I don't know!" He replied.

"It was me! I put in some aphrodisiacs! Hehehe.." Hiyoko piped up.

"Hiyoko, you put my secret sexy soup recipe into the food!" Teruteru shouted.

"Hiyoko, what the-" you started.

And, suddenly.. a hand grabs yours.
You were pulled from behind, your back against the wall. You blinked a few times before realizing.. You were now pinned to the wall by Fuyuhiko.

"...hell?" You gushed, barely containing your bright pink cheeks.

"Listen, Y/N.. I need to ask you something," he began, looking into your glimmering e/c eyes.

Silence.. 'Is this what puberty does to him?'

"You asked me what love was, so now you  tell me; what's lust?"

You had to gather your thoughts together, "Lust is the feeling of wanting to get into someone's p-pants just for the heck of it.."

"Then I have a diagnosis," he responded.

Right after you parted your lips to respond, Fuyuhiko cuts you off with a kiss.

You didn't struggle. Yet, you wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed back.

It was a romantic few seconds, then you had to part.

"Y/N... I love you," Fuyuhiko confessed.

Time skip to class...

You and Fuyuhiko calmed down from the aphrodisiacs. The whole time there, you were flustered with no end.

Did Fuyuhiko mean anything he said to you? Or was he just overcome with aphrodisiacs?

For the rest of the day, you both avoided each other at all costs.

•Fuyuhiko's POV•

'What am I going to say to her? That I didn't mean to kiss her? But that would only break her heart, right? I've seen what happens when she's sad..'

I could feel my heart race whenever I wlas near her.
'I didn't NOT mean anything by the kiss.. I just have a small crush, s'all..'

'What am I going to do about this..?'

It's English now, and it can't be something she can just OBSERVE. She needs to actually have good writing skills, yet she doesn't seem to be focusing as much as usual..

I noticed that today, after what happened at the nurse's office, that she's been aloof, and definitely is craving social interaction. She's even more unfocused after the incident when we were eating. What could this mean?

She's talking to Kazuichi about observing Sonia, and how she doesn't want anything to do with him. I could see the hatred in her e/c eyes that day she was observing Sonia. It was like they'd gone dead.

She was never really fond of Sonia to begin with. She never talked to her like the others, and she definitely avoided her.

'I can't understand why she cares so much for Kazuichi, though. Does she have a crush on him? Oh no, if that's the case.. then that means I stole her kiss!'

'Shit.. fuck.. SHIIIIITTTT...'

'But.. why'd she kiss back at me? Was that just an impulse, or did she actually mean anything by it..?'

'I'm thinking too much about this..'
