Scheme 1: March comes in like a lion and goes out like an Edd Part 1

After pushing send he was about to put his phone back on his nightstand when it suddenly began to buzz.

To Kev: "Don't sweat it. I couldn't have stayed very long anyway.

I have to babysit Eddy again because his parents are on a date."

To Babe: "You're up early Nazz. Rolf isn't coming also.

I wish you luck with Eddy. He means trouble."

To Kev: "I have some chores to do before I can go out. I think I

don't want to know what Rolf is up to again.

Anyways while I'm at Eddy's I can show my face at your house for

a little while."

To Babe: "Thanks. I hope I'm not asleep when you do."

To Kev: "Rest well. I'm off cleaning the ceiling."

Kevin was too sick to even realize the strange massage Nazz send him and put his phone away without further questioning. He also forgot to make fun of Eddy still having to be babysitted at his age.

Meanwhile Kevin's Mother Kathleen picked up the landline.

"Hello. Barr here." she spoke with a soft voice.

"Good morning. Kathleen." answered a deep voice.

"Dear. Is something wrong?" she asked her husband who was currently on a business trip.

"Sadly there is. I forgot some important documents at my desk at home. Could you be so kind an take them to my substitute. He says he can't leave the factory."

"Oh dear. Kevin got a fever. I can't leave him alone. What if it is worsening?" she stated worried.

"That is not good. But you could ask some of the neighbors to watch over him."

"Okay I'll try. But this weekend is a bit problematic most of them already made plans."

"I belief you will find someone. Anyways I have to go now. I'm late for the meeting. Tell Kevin to get well for me. I love you."

"Bye. I love you too." she said softly as she hung up.

Kathleen ran upstairs to grab the documents. After she found them she went straight into Kevin's room who was sipping at his glass of water when she barged in.

"Kevin. Sweety. I have to take some documents to your fathers factory. But I cannot leave you alone at home. I'll ask our neighbors to take care of you." she explained hectically.

"Mum. I'm 15 I can take care of myself."

"Not when you have a cold! Someone must take care of you. What if it gets worse!"

"Fine!" Kevin rolled his eyes, "But before you ask. Eddy's parents are preparing for a date and Rolf told me that he and his parents are visiting some of his relatives today. And Nazz said her parents are renovating their bedroom after a water damage."

"Oh dear. But how about Edd?" she asked.

"How should I know. But his parents are always away anyway."

"I wasn't talking about his parents. He is a pretty responsible child. I'm sure he can handle you."

"What? No. Mum..." he couldn't finish his sentence.

"Don't be embarrassed Kevin. He is a nice kid." with those words she left an exhausted Kevin behind.

"Whatever. That Dork wouldn't come anyways."
