Scheme 3: Edd got your tongue? Part 2

"Where is that Dork? Normally he would have been here by now!" Kevin thought a little annoyed at the lack of his Dork.

The break went by fast. Way to fast in Kevin's opinion. Not seeing Edd in his break made him feel frustrated.

"Maybe he is helping out a teacher again." Kevin shrug, "I will see him in our next class anyway."

Walking into the biology classroom Kevin got exited. He spotted Edd in an split second. Double Dee was standing next to the teacher probably talking about ants or something similar. Kevin sat down in the second row and when Kevin thought Edd finally noticed him and Kevin advised him to sit down next to him via hand signs. Edd ignored him how he was instructed and sat in the front row like usual.

"Did he really just ignore me??!! He didn't hate the kiss, right? He was even kissing me back! Maybe he is just shy? That is probably it. He is still shy." Kevin convinced himself.

Then after some painful minutes for Kevin the class finally begun. The teacher went on and on about organisms. Especially ants. Kevin was happy when he announced that he will split up the class into smaller workgroups by drawing lots. They apparently had to watch an ant farm in order to answer the questions of a worksheet. Kevin had to sigh. Some boring chore they had to complete. Kevin knew it could only come from Edd and suddenly he wanted to know why it was so interesting to the dark haired boy to watch some almost irrelevant ants. After the teacher had written down all the names, he picked always two to match up the partners.

"Kevin Barr and-" the teacher said and Kevin suddenly paid attention, "There we go that little rascal didn't want to come out... And Mr. Barr your partner is Eddward Vincent."

Kevin's face light up. Finally he could spent some quality time with Edd. That suddenly made Kevin nervous and his hands became a little sweaty.

"Try to keep it cool. You can do it." Kevin motivated himself when he walked up to Edd after the teacher finished selecting the groups.

"Hey Double Dee." greeted Kevin not being able to look Edd into his face.

"Greetings work partner." Edd tied to sound uncaring but his words had a happy undertone.

"Oh dear Edd. Now you are in trouble. I shouldn't be this overjoyed about Kevin being my biology partner."

Kevin pulled himself together to get a closer look at Edd's face which was still marked from last night.

"Who did this to you?" Kevin asked worried gently touching Edd's face.

"The ironic part is YOU DID." but naturally Edd tried to ignore Kevin and pushed his hand away.

"Double Dee answer me." Kevin started to get angry which made Edd flinch a little.

"Kevin this doesn't concern you! We have to start working on our project." lectured Edd trying to stay calm.

Kevin moved closer and Edd couldn't do anything against his heart rate speeding up.

"Tell me this instead!" whispered Kevin into Edd's ear in serious tone. Edd had to blush at how sexy Kevin's voice could sound. Trying to get back into his ignoring character Edd said:

"We have to finish our worksheet before class ends."

Kevin's eyes grew narrow. He suspected that something was wrong.

"I won't let you get away with this so easy. Meet me at the rooftop at lunch time. And don't you dare not to come."

Then the two boys started watching the ants.
