"No!" Lapis Lazuli yelped, "I mean... It's fine, you don't have to! Let's just go!"'

"Uh, alright..." Y/n frowned as they slowly walked back to Lapis Lazuli

"Let's go!" Lapis Lazuli smiled as she ran down the stairs with Y/n and pulled them outside, once they were in the open air, Lapis Lazuli scooped Y/n up and began to fly far away at a fast pace

"Alright, this is fine," Y/n mumbled to themself as they closed their eyes

"Don't look down, you'll be okay," Lapis Lazuli assured, "I'm not gonna drop you!"

"Ok... Ok... Ok," Y/n breathed as they slowly opened their eyes and looked around at their surroundings, "Whoa..."

"It's great up here isn't it?" Lapis Lazuli smiled

"Yeah... I guess so," Y/n sighed, "Sorry, I'm still... I dunno,"

"Hmm..." Lapis Lazuli peered around lower, "I've got an idea," Lapis Lazuli told as she swooped down near a mountain landing gently and letting Y/n down

"We're.... at a tree," Y/n said as they looked up and saw the large sycamore tree.

"We're gonna get to the top of it. The human way," Lapis Lazuli told, "Peridot's been telling me a lot about human stuff. Like that whole relationship thing,"

"I can't climb that," Y/n scoffed

"Sure, you can," Lapis Lazuli assured, "I can. It's what I do when I want to have a better feeling of the Earth,"

"Well... You're a gem. I'm a human," Y/n told

"So? It's not called the 'human way' for nothing," Lapis Lazuli said

"I'm pretty sure you just made that up," Y/n laughed

"Steven says if something seems hard, singing a song about it will make it easier," Lapis Lazuli told, "Let's sing a song a you'll be climbing in no time,"

"Steven says a lot of things that aren't necessarily true," Y/n told

"Let's try it out then, prove him and me wrong," Lapis Lazuli said

"I... I don't have a song," Y/n said

"We'll make one then," Lapis Lazuli said, "Peridot and I've been working on music... Even music but with stuff!"

"You mean art?" Y/n asked

"I've been calling it meep morps," Lapis Lazuli told

"Alright," Y/n laughed

"Ready?" Lapis Lazuli asked as she went up to the tree trunk

"I guess," Y/n sighed

"Watch my every step," Lapis Lazuli sang as she began to climb, grabbing onto a branch, "Find a sturdy branch, don't you dare look down. Dig in your heels. Let's see what this tree reveals!"

"Heh, alright," Y/n laughed a bit as they followed behind Lapis Lazuli

"Just a few more feet" Lapis Lazuli told, "We're almost at the top!"

"Watch the robins nest," Y/n warned in a sing-songy voice as they moved up

"Pull your body up 'till you've broken through," Lapis Lazuli smiled as she put out her hand for Y/n to grab, which they did, pulling them up to the top branch, "Let's see if this tree has a view!" Lapis Lazuli said as she pushed a branch out of the way, "At the top, at the top, at the top of the world you're drawing back a curtain.
