Chapter 4

You thought to yourself, thinking thats a very exaggerated question.

"I mean, of course, you have got Mars, Jupiter, Saturn..." You reply like a scientist.

He gives you a are you serious look and looks back up. Then he laughs.

"No!" He puts his hand over his mouth laughing. "No miss smarty pants, I mean worlds with other lifeforms on it?"

"Why didnt you say that in the first place!?" You snicker.

He gives you the same look and turns away.

"Nevermind, im gonna get some sleep." he pouts.

"No, Varian, wait! Im sorry!" You cant keep a straight face.

He says nothing and you roll your eyes.

"such a child..." you laugh and stare back up at the ceiling again.

You look out the window, thinking you need something to do to pass the time. You decide you want to go out but before you get up, Quirin walks in.

"Sorry, im just checking on you two..." he sighs. "Im going out for a while, dont leave this house, alright?" His face grows more serious as he closes the door.

You roll your eyes, rolling off the bed and onto the floor. You stand up and look back out the window, tempted to leave. You look at the door then at the moon. Your eyes narrow as you grab your satchel and put it around your neck. You open up the window and jump out, closing it on your way out.
Your face frowns as you hate disobeying Quirin, espicially since he basically built you a bed. Good thing Varians asleep. You decide to walk around for a bit until you get tired but after a long time of walking, your still not tired. Your walking along the Corona docks until you see guards. You panic a bit because you dont want them to report you to Quirin. You feel someone grab your arm and pull you in.

"Ok kid, I dont know why your around here but you need to watch out for guards!" The lady whos familiar looks both ways.

Its Cassandra and.... Rapunzel?

"Woah Cass, how did you know the guards were coming?" Rapunzel asks with joy.

"Ive got eyes in the sky." She looks up and you hear a bird noise.

Suddenly an owl pirches onto her shoulder.

"Woah, whats its name?" Rapunzel smiles.

"Owl..." She looks at her in all seriousness.

"oh.." Rapunzel looks a little disappointed.

"Hey kid, one question?" Cass looks at you.

You nod nervously

"Why do you wear gloves?" She looks at your hands.

You look at your hands and forgot all about it. You shrug and look at her.

"Why do you wear gloves?" You ask back. You realized how much of a smart alic you have been today.

She rolls her eyes. "No seriously! why?"
