Why isn't anyone else sweating?

"You're okay dude." Matt whispers patting my back.

The music starts.

The doors open.

I see Marley arm in arm with someone.

Ooh. That's where Jimmy is.

How cute. My best friends are walking down the aisle together.

They reach me.

"Who is giving away Marley Jade Wendt to Brian Elwin Haner Jr.?" The pastor asks.

"I James Owen Sullivan, am giving away Marley Jade Wendt ." Jimmy smiles and I see Marley let a little tear slip.

I grab Marley's hands and look into her beautiful green eyes. She looks stunning.

*skips to I do's*

"I do." I smile.

"You may kiss the bride."

Everyone cheers.

I kiss Marley and everything is perfect.

We walk down the aisle.

"I love you Mr.Haner." she smiles.

"I love you more Mrs.Haner, until the end." I kiss her cheek.

We get into our limo and drive off.

We are giggling and drinking champagne. She spills a little on her dress.

"You klutz." I laugh.

"You must love me since you married me." She shot back.

"Oooh. Someone is a little feisty." I stick out my toungue.

"Maybe a little." She kisses me and bites my lip.

"But Marl." I whine.

"Yes boro?" She grins knowing what she did.

We arrive at the wedding reception and I help Marley out of the limo.

We walk in and everybody cheers.

We walk to the cake and we cut the first two pieces. Before I cpuld blink she rubbed the whole slice on my face.

"Two can play at that game." I grin. I wipe the cake all over her face avoiding her eye makeup.

"You ass." She kisses me and all of a sudden Jimmy comes from behind me and stuffs more cake in my face.

"The fuck Jim." I laugh.

We continue on.

The night was perfect. Jimmy gave the greatest speech and now it was Marley and I's slow dance. But I'm changing it up. I put a chair in the middle of the room for Marley and I motion for the guys to come by me.

I go grab my guitar and things. So do the rest of the guys.

"Okay guys. Good ole Brian wrote this for Marl." Matt laughs.

I look at her starting to tear up and we start the song.

Weekends on young and angry streets
We meet, drink 'till trouble found us there
Living life as without a care
We've had our fights, been black and blue
It's true, I've even gone to jail for you my friends
Bet your life that I'd do it again

(Until the End)

Don't change the way you think of me
We're from the same story
Life moves on, can't stay the same
For some of us, I'm worried, yeah

While some have gone their separate ways
There's some still caught up with the past
And stead to move on, you're missing most of your life
They say it's hard to stay the same
When some fail, while other men seem to gain, but friends
I'll be with you here until the end

(Until the End)

Don't change the way you think of me
We're from the same story
Life moves on, can't stay the same
For some of us, I'm worried

We're all falling forward
With no signs of slow
Some moving faster
That's all that I wanted
I wanted

I know it's hard
It's passing by
Memories
Be out all night
So reminisce won't bring you back
Just look ahead and hold on tight

We're all falling forward
With no signs of slow
Some moving faster
That's all that I wanted
I wanted

Don't change the way you think of me
Oh yeah

Until the end
Until the end
Until the end
Until the end

She cries and she runs to me.

"That was amazing Boro." She gives me the best smile.

The day is over and Marley and I head to the car. She gets in.

"Go ride with your friends. You can ride with me later." I wink.

"Are you sure?" She asks.

"Yes baby." I smile.

"Okay, I love you. I'll see you when I get home." I kiss her on the cheek.

"I love you more Boro." She kisses me and walks to Val's car.

What a day.

My life is absolutely perfect.

Before I can hit the breaks a 18-wheeler barrels into my car. I'm in so much pain.

I see my family.

I see Jimmy.

I see my beautiful wife Marley.

I feel no more pain.

I close my eyes.

I'll be with you here until the end. ~completed~Where stories live. Discover now
