Chapter 25: Go Time

"Bye... take your ass on then," I said before walking back in. "Fucking dumbass "I mumbled before walking in. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know your son and then here" she tightened her robe.

"Its okay, its my fault" I pecked her lips. "You just make my bacon," I said

Kamaya

I woke up again with the meanest headache ever. I rolled over on my bed staring at the ground. I heard my phone ring and I ignored it. "What? I leaned over grabbing it. I had 5 missed called from Dreux, 10 from Rudy, 20 from Ricky and a ringing doorbell. I put my phone back down again closing my eyes until I heard the door open. I jumped up in fear. Rudy gave me his keys back the other day and no one has the keys to my house.

"Kamaya"

I felt relieved once I memorize the voice but then quickly felt annoyed. How did he get the keys to my house? I ran down the steps "How did you get the keys to my house? I asked.

"Hi to you too and you should be asking your brother these things," he said placing a bag of food on the table. I needed my space and I hated that he was here. "I know you didn't eat so I got you som-

"I'm not hungry" I cut him off. I crossed my arms looking around. "I know you haven't been eating. Atleast something" he said.

"No, I'm good. I'm disgusted" I said going back upstairs to shower.

30 minutes later

Once I finished bathing. I went back downstairs to get a water. That's the only thing I could really do. I saw him on the phone laughing he had a cute little laugh to him. "You fucking crazy"

I grabbed my bottle of water making my way back upstairs before he lightly grabbed my arm. I rolled my eyes "What?

"Come on" he nodded. Come on what? I was confused. "What? I asked. I pulled me by my waist on his lap. I was caught off guard and felt chills down my spine. "What are you doing? I tried getting out his grip but he pulled me facing the table. He handed me carryout box opening it for me. "Hold on... let me call you back" he said hanging up.

"I want you to try to eat," he said handing me a fork. I just stared down at the pancakes bacon and egg platter. "I can't do it," I said.

"Come on babygirl... how you gon get better so I can date you? He said.

"I'm not dateable but thanks," I said staring at it trying not to cry. He scopped up some eggs trying to feed it to me. I gave in taking a bite. "How a few bites? He asked digging up my fork handing it to me. I nodded my head grabbing the fork.

That Night

I walked around with him at the charity event hip to hip trying not trip over my black gown that he already told me he didn't like. What did this guy like? We were attached hip to hip and we haven't even been here for an hour. "So what's the purpose of going to this? I asked him.

"Donate to a charity, try to persuade others to donate to ours," he said simply. Ricky was so straight and to the point. He didn't have much to say only when there's an issue. "Mr. Santana" a tall white guy and an asian woman happily approached him. "Henry.. nice to see you," he said shaking his hand.

"Like wise.. we definitely have to catch up. I saw you all on the news... everything okay? He gave him the side eye.

"Of course Henry, they got the wrong guys" he gave him an evil smile.

"And this is? He looked towards me. "Jos-

"This is my fiancé Josie-

"Josie Wilson" I cut him back off. "Fiancé? I never thought a player like you would settle down" he said. I just smiled standing there. I felt him wrap his hands around my waist. "I thought so too but she just has something about her that makes me want to settle down and start a family" He firmly tightened his hands around my waist. Ouch!
