Chapter 17

"I am insane either way, but I won't get sick, I'm a demon" he said, but taking my hand anyways.

"Sure you won't, we'll see about that later" I stopped a smirk from forming on my face. I took Bill inside with me, forced him to take a bath, then gave him towels and clothes.

I heard the bathroom door open and I looked up from my book to see Bill coming out, wearing a chrome yellow t-shirt and some pants, his hair wrapped up in towel. But there one thing out of place, Bill was shivering badly and shaking too, as he wrapped his arms around himself to keep warm. Alarmed, I sat up in my place an motioned Bill to come over. I placed my hand on his neck, only to notice how cold his neck was.

"You're freezing" I muttered.

"S-some-one g-got sm-art" Bill spoke with a stutter because of shaking. I just shook my head and pulled him in bed beside me.

"Come on Dorito, let's warm you up" I smiled as he lied down and curled up, his back facing my side. I laid beside him, and draped a blanket over us and another thick blanket over Bill. I curled up around his form, and spooned him.

"W-what a-are y-you d-doing?" He stuttered.

"Sharing my body heat you idiot, now get a nap, will you?" I smiled and wrapped my arms around him tighter.

After a while, Bill's shaking stopped, and once it stopped completely, I heard soft snores coming from him. I just smiled and curled up so I could take a nap myself.

I was woken up by a sneeze. I sat up immediately and gave a look to Bill, who looked surprised himself. I put my hand on his forehead, it was hot, I quickly removed my hand and smirked.

"Told you you'd get sick" I said. He just snarled and coughed badly. I rubbed his back.

"There there" I said as I rubbed his back until he calmed down.

"I thought demons don't get sick. How?" Bill asked, looking at me.

"You have a physical body Dorito, you're not only a demon, but also human, because of your body" I told him, my tone and face both calm as I held Bill in my arms while he was curled around me.

"I hate this body" he growled, then began coughing again. I patted his back again until he calmed down.

"Don't speak much, you'll only make things worse for yourself" I told him. Bill gave in and rested in my arms, until I discovered that his temperature was rising. I have to do something quick.

"Bill, sit here, I'll get you water, medicine and something to eat" I told him and softly pushed him on the bed, he just nodded and curled up. He looks weak and pale, not like he already isn't pale enough.

"This is disgusting" Bill made a face at the cough medicine. I gave him a stern face.

"If you drink it, I'll give you something nice" I told him with a smile. He looked at me, then at the medicine reluctantly, then drank it in one gulp.

"Good boy" I patted his back and gave him water, once he was done, I gave him a peck on the lips, then handed him the bowl of soup. Bill blushed, but ate his soup.

"Its so peaceful and calm now that Bill is sick" Mabel sighed, chilling on the couch.

"But (y/n) is taking care of him" Dipper said and Mabel nodded.

"I just hope it would stay calm like this forever" Mabel wished.

"Woohoo!!! I am up and running again!!!! Thanks to Angel!!!" Bill jumped down the staircase, and landed straight on Dipper, who groaned in pain. Unsurprisingly, Bill healed way faster than a human, well, he is a demon.

"Did you missed me? Admit it you missed me" Bill said to Dipper with a smiling face as he held Dipper's face and squished it with his hands.

"Hardly" Dipper managed to say somehow.

"Too bad, because I am here now, all my body ache is gone, there will be chaos everywhere, and I will possess your body again Pine Tree" Bill cackled as the background turned hellish.

"Bill, come on, we are going for grocery shopping" I said taking my coat off the sofa.

"Okay" Bill said and made a cute cat like face as he stood up, he followed me out like a obedient cat. I just patted his head and he gave me a closed eye smile before hugging me. From the corner of my eyes, I saw the shocked Dipper and Mabel. Bill give me a quick kiss before running out, pulling me with him.
