"Impossible." It was Reaper's turn to speak. "There are hundreds upon hundreds of universes of where the human could have landed and if they have truly acquired the ability to move from one timeline to the next, trying to find them in an exact location at the exact time is impossible. Doing something such as that would take years and we have only hours."

Error's mind flickered to the brief glimpse he had captured of the world [Y/N] had disappeared into, catching the faint distinction of red and black in the background. "I have an idea where they may be."

The three other skeletons pondered his words for a moment. "But what if you find [Y/N] before Nightmare and they're not themselves?" Geno asked, looking uncertain of himself.

"Well," Error shrugged. "I guess that means one less anomaly in the multiverse I have to worry about when it's all said and done."

Free.

Nothing could bind you for no chains existed within this mortal realm to restrict or hinder you. Sure, there was the subject of Error and that weird emotional block that refrained you from slaughtering him, but here in this world, here in this forgettable pocket of reality, none existed that dared oppose you. Here was the place where you could slaughter and maim without fear of regret.

There was a human in the woods you roamed, you were not the only thing wandering the snowing woods this night. You were in the realm of monsters and yet another human walked this land alongside you, but not for long. You stalked the human for a short while, the cat chasing the blind mouse, enjoying the hunt, knowing the certain outcome in the end. The human seemed to pick up on your presence and began to walk faster.

Where was there to run or hide? Certainly no where for you flung from the bushes and launched yourself onto the human, taken aback by how much the human resembled the Frisk from your timeline. The knife sensed your sudden hesitance and drowned the memory, instead promising the rewards that would follow, relief, euphoria, anything in the world to be yours.

The human child screeched and ducked into the woods as you landed in the snow, the knife clutched in your hands. "Don't you want to play?" you asked or maybe it was the knife that spoke, it was getting harder and harder to tell. With every second that passed, a part of you seemed to fuse even further with the mind of the knife and a brief part of you wondered if you would ever be able to separate with the knife again and risk facing certain death.

With a mere flick of your wrist, the child was thrown into the air, slammed once against a tree before collapsing to the snow-covered ground, twitching and then lying still. The human that greatly resembled the Frisk from your dead world weakly waved her hand, two buttons appearing before her. It was a curious sight, something you had never seen a human do before. You recalled a mentioning of a Frisk in every timeline with the ability to control and alter the sequence of time and the thought paniced you.

"Not this time, I'm afraid," the knife spoke through your mouth and you brought the blade down into Frisk's soul, watching in astonishment as the red colour within the heart drained away into the depths of your blade, leaving behind an empty and barren human soul. The two buttons before Frisk flickered and vanished fromm view.

"What have you done?" Frisk snarled and struggled against the tree they were pinned against but a part of them already seemed to give into the fate that lay at hand for no determination existed within their body to fuel their fire. But no part of you cared for your actions, the knife was already pleased after absorbing whatever trait had constructed the human's soul.

Kill, that was the only option left now. Not fight or spare, but to kill. And in one deft motion, your knife tore through their chest and ripped open every sinew and bone that constructed the human's body, ultimately destroying the hollow of Frisk's soul and condemning the empty thing to rot in the Void.
