The earth suddenly shook as the doors to the factory burst open, the triggered Undertale fandom breaking in. "But [Y/N]," they screeched, carrying pitchforks and everything. "Error and Ink didn't actually create him that way, he was a product of their battles."
"I get that!" you screeched, tearing out clumps of your hair. "But even still, the theory goes that Error's strings and Ink's ink blot things stuck together and formed a sentinent creature. First of all, a living organism cannot be produced from inanimate objects, it doesn't work that way. Two haploid gamete cells have to come together to form a diploid zygote cell which then develops in time into a living organism."
"What you talking about," the Undertale fandom asked in confusion.
"Ink and strings cannot reproduce and create a living creature because they are inanimate objects and do not have DNA to pass onto a biological offspring," you explained in simpler terms.
"What about Bendy?" Someone retorted.
"Don't you get it!" you roared. "We are all trapped within a book, a fictional piece of work that someone is reading right now over a computer or some other electronic device. Right now, our actions are being dictated by someone called an author-chan who determines what happens in each chapter."
The Undertale fandom gasped. "Not an author-chan!"
Suddenly, the author-chan of this book materialised in thin air. "Yes, I am here," she said, looking in sadness upon what the Undertale fandom had become.
"Gasp, you did a gender reveal!" The Undertale fandom screeched.
"And now your life is forever altered," the author sighed and looked upon [Y/N]. "Something is not right here, is it? This is very confusing, it isn't like the storyline you were reading at all, is it?"
"I don't know what you're talking about." You narrowed your eyes in confusion. "I've always lived in Undernovela, Sin has been my lover ever since I was born!" The Undertale Fandom gasped and began to draw cringy fan art because they shipped anyone with everything these days.
"Omg author-chan you should totally write a Bendy x Reader because who doesn't love a book with a reader insert who is shipped with a sadistic ink demon that always wants to kill you?" Another chimed.
"Look, I got her phone!" Someone held up the author's phone and began to scroll through her 抖阴社区 account. "Omg she's already drafted one!" They held up the phone for all to see.
"Give me that," the author growled, snatching back her phone.
"Omg look!" One person held up a really cringy drawing. "I drew a Snas! It's my OC and he's nothng at all like the Sans in the real game. He has super cool mega gaster blasters and he can shoot rainbows out of his eyesockets. Maybe I'll submit my design to quality animators like Jael or Camila and see if they'll add it to their animations!"
"I don't think they will," the author replied, staring in horror at the Snas drawing. "These animators spend chunks of their times developing quality characters and storylines and they're not going to randomly insert your OC just because you spam their YouTube video with relentless comments so you should really stop doing it because it's never going to happen and just detracts from the overall content."
"Triggered!!!!11!!" Someone else replied.
"Why do you type like that?" The author asked, genuinely confused. "It makes no sense to needlessly repeat exclamation marks either, let alone add 1 to emphasise your meaning."
The author sighed and turned back to face the reader, done with their brief rant on the deepest darkest corners of the Undertale fandom. "Something else is at work here, something that I have no power over. I've lost the ability to manipulate the storyline of this book. I need you to remember [Y/N], I need you to remember why you came here, why you came here to fight G----- in the first place." The author narrowed her eyes, confused on why she couldn't say G-----'s name. "G-----," she attempted to say again. "[Y/N] you have to remember. You have to fight - "
And then the author vanished from view, disappearing forever. You shrugged and turned back to Sin, ignoring the gasping Undertale fandom. Suddenly Nightmare and Error appeared out of nowhere. "We have come for our Glamburger drugs," Error demanded, throwing some money down on the table.
"Thank you," you nodded and hugged Sin. "We're going to be rich!" you exclaimed and watched as more Glamburgers poofed out of thin air. This was it, your ticket to a better future and a better life. You would no longer lives in the slums of Mexico City but finally secure a life for you and your friends, a future for you and your husband Sin.
"No, he's my husband!" One person screeched and launched themselves at you.
"No, my waifu!" Another wailed and joined the fight.
"I'm not even female - " Sin protested.
"Genderbend activated!" The Undertale fandom screeched and waved their magic wand and Sin turned into a female.
"Ew, I don't like how she looks," another person in the Undertale fandom commented, looking at Sin. "We should change everything about this version of Sans and make it so that it's impossible to tell it even originated from the game Undertale in the first place like a majority of fan art on Tumblr!"
"Omg yas," everyone agreed and you watched in horror as your husband/waifu skeleton turned into one of those anime characters from the Doki Doki Literature Club thing.
"Author chan knows what Doki Doki Literature Club is?" The Undertale fandom gasped.
"Unfortunately," the author replied from where G----- was holding her prisoner.
But there seemed to be something wrong with this universe, the pieces of the puzzle were slowly fitting together. Fragments of reality, traces of your past life were slowly being fit together. You could remember snippets of a life before this one, before you had been randomly stuck into this hellhole of a universe.
Hadn't you made an alliance with Nightmare and his army to take down G----- only minutes ago? Everything afterwards seemed blurry, distorted to the point where you could not even begin to comprehend it. You and Error had teleported to the universe that G----- was rebuilding, reshaping with the mind and powers of a god.
And he had looked upon you as you and Nightmare's army arrived before him. And how the anomaly had smiled, welcomed you with open arms! It was only in that moment did all of you realise that it had been a trap, G----- always one step ahead. No matter what you did, no matter where you ran and where you hid, he would always find you, he would always win.
"Very clever."
The surroundings around you slowly melded away until you stood in a room of black without definition. Gaster stood before you, the beginnings of a smile playing upon his features. "How interesting," he commented. "The coding of your friends is easy to manipulate, they are no more than rodents in my game. And I was able to secure you, to suppress your memories and rewrite your history, and yet a part of you still remembered, still struggled against my power. How peculiar."
Hope rose inside of you and Gaster sensed this, baring his fangs. Hope was the only thing stronger than fear and Gaster was the god, the lord of fear. And if there was hope than what power did he have? He was useless.
"We're going to win," you spat, taking a step towards him. "I don't care how many worlds I have to cross or how many of your damn games I have to play. One day, maybe a millennia from now, I will carve that smile of yours from your face and lay your body to waste. And you know that, don't you?"
Gaster's momentary flash of fear vanished, a cynical grin transforming his face once more. The tips of his fingers danced across a purple button to his right, glowing ominously in the room of black. You could barely make out the word Overwrite scrawled in a jagged text.
"Shall we go again?"
