"Wait there," I said. "I'll just change..."
He nods before sitting comfortably on my couch. I ran upstairs and locked my room.
I took a quick shower to remove all those germs that I earned from the acid rain. I decided to put on a comfy sweatpants and sweatshirt due to ths coldness I felt from the windy breeze.
My hair was left unkempt and I ran back downstairs only to see Jean scrolling on his phone.
"Lots of streets has been flooded," he mentions. "Oh, there you are."
I smiled before sitting beside him. "By the way, thank you-... for walking me home."
He shook his head. "We've been friends, I wouldn't let you walk alone in a rain."
I snorted, he hasn't changed. "Anyway, may I ask why you were at the village?"
"Oh, about that," Jean puts his phone back on his pocket. "I was visiting my aunt near this village, I happen to pass by on the guards house then I saw you walking in the rain."
"Oh. I see..." I nodded, "Thanks a lot... you saved me from hell."
Jean chuckles. "Hell? Really? What happened to you...? I'm so worried by the way you acted lately. Is there something that hurted you?"
Another recalling memories had to happen.
"I'll tell you when I come back," I stood up from the couch. "I'll make black te- uh, coffee, I mean."
He was kind of weirded out but nodded anyway. I make my way to the kitchen and make black coffee. As much as I hated this fucking bitter brewed beans, it has to be made as an alibi.
After making it, it smells rejuvenating but tastes sucks.
I went back as he smiled.
"So..." I handed him his coffee, thankfully he wasn't like me that hates this beverage. "It was a long story."
I told him about what's the matter. From the conference to the coffee shop and the last part where Hanji forces me to attend the concert.
"Maybe Hanji is right..." Jean sipped on his drink. "If you really wanted to get over him and move on from the heaviness your heart felt, you should do a closure."
"Maybe..." I looked down. "Should I attend?"
"Closure means last, " Jean put down the now empty cup. "Give it... it's your last time to see him sing. You are lucky, though for many fans. But to you, it breaks. But on the bright side, everything could settle and you can start a new life."
Jean was right. Absolutely. I should give it a shot. Though, it's the last...
"I hope your decision will take you into a good path," he concerned. "But your not indecisive anyway so I trust your opinion."
I smirked. "I'm thinking of all the consequences first..."
"That's good." Jean compliments. "Anyway, may I ask?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you still love him?"
'W-what?'
His words made a great impact on me and I don't know why. Why would I still love him after what he did?
It's hard to keep a faith, right?
It's hard to trust anymore.
'But... on the other side'
There are still a large percentage of positive feelings that remains on my heart for him... I can't just deny it.
