"We've got to get you out of here, Y/N-"
"Wait- about that, how do you know my name?"
"No time!"
"Is there enough time to take me to school? I've never been late before, and that-" you pointed to bus number 307, which was driving on the road below you, trying to escape the danger as quickly as possible.
"-...that was my bus." You added, chuckling at the coincidence as the figure hesitated.
"Ya, sure thing. Hold on tight!" He muttered, holding you securely in his left arm and shooting white substance out of his right wrist, then when it became secure, he gripped it and shot away.
"YOU STILL HAVE TO UNTIE ME-" you screamed as you flew. He didn't respond as he flew through New York's morning sky, until he landed onto the steps of your high school and set you down with the delicacy of thin glass. You glared up at him, grateful for the ride, but also trying to show him that he forgot something.
"...Am I... missing something?" He asked slowly and hesitantly. You groaned and wriggled your bounded figure to prove your point, but he still did nothing.
"The white ropey stuff, Spider-Dunce." You added, and he was then very quick to remove the white wrap. It fell to the ground as if made of weightless clouds and silk, and you could feel the apologetic grin through the mask as you looked at the strange material.
"I won't feel insulted, you were 50% accurate on the name. You-... your school should be at a safe enough distance from the fight, so tell your Principal not to be worried for me~." He charmed as if he were bragging. You both heard an explosion from across town, and he cursed silently.
"Wait, how did you know where I go to-" you looked up, but his figure had disappeared back into the city.
"...school..." You muttered, oblivious to the astonished pairs of eyes of your peers boring into your head. Turning on the step and walking into the building, you tried your best to avoid the hundreds of questions you were getting from the strangers acting like the best friends you never had.
"You know Spider-Man?!"
"Can you get him to give me an hour of his time? For the School Newspaper!"
"How did you land Spider-Man, uhh... {Butchered Version of your Name}?"
You told everyone the exact same thing;
That you didn't know one another and that he had only saved you, but none of them got the hint. They just kept on clawing at you, like a spatula trying to pry cookies off of a pan you forgot to spray beforehand.However, the most unique of the interrogators was Nyma Goldinks. She simply waved off the dozens upon dozens of students hoarding your first period desk, only to claim your attention for herself.
"So, word in the hallways is that you're friends with Spider-Man?~" She asked cheekily, leaning on your desk and wrinkling the papers beneath her elbows. You groaned internally, but physically folded your arms on your desk and laid your head on top of them, the universal sign for "leave me the £0¢€ alone".
"I was wondering if you could invite him to my party on Saturday? He's going to be the guest of honor. If you get him to meet me personally, I might let you come too." She stated, and you looked up at her in the most disgusted and confused face one could conjure.
