Bite Me ?

《 TWENTY-SIX》

My eyes closed. "You think you could ever measure up to your mother? Either of them? One wears a crown and the other is beloved by the community but you... everybody hates you" he said.

My jaw gritted. "You think you're so oh moss popular but we all know what everyone says about you when your not in the room, your annoying, a loser, weak, you think someone could ever love you?" He asked, starting to pace around me.

I opened my eyes. "Weak, you can't even control your own powers, you do nothing but complain and whine, you're not even beautiful" he kept saying.

My lip trembled and I felt a sob get caught in my throat.

I felt my eyes well up and my hands seemed to freeze. "Your own brother didn't even want to know you until he had too, your own best friend left you for four years, never telling you how much he hated being around you" Austin kept talking, his tone getting darker and darker.

"You will never be happy" Austin growled in my ear.

I felt my tears run down my cheek. "That's enough!" Marcus ordered.

I shook my head. "You can't protect yourself, do you need to hold your daddy's hand? You don't even know who your father is!" Austin exclaimed.

"You think we're all here to support you, we're just waiting for you to die, you are nothing, nothing" Austin growled out.

That did it for me. I screamed and threw my arms out, creating some kind of shock wave. It blew Scathach back and knocked Austin away.

All the windows in the room smashed and everyone ducked instead of Marcus. He rushed to me and held me in his arms, protecting me from the glass shards. I cried into his chest as he consoled me.

"Diana, I'm sorry, I went too far" Austin said, standing up when the glass had stopped raining around us.

"Yes you did, some could even think you enjoyed that" Marcus spat back.

"I would never hurt Diana, emotionally or physically" Austin bit back.

"I think what you just said says a different story, dog" Marcus growled.

Austin growled and stepped forward. "How about you come over here and not hide behind her" Austin snapped.

Marcus let me go and strode up to Austin who didn't flinch or step back. Marcus looked so imposing, glaring down at Austin with his grey eyes. His mouth in a thin line and anger streaked across his face. "What exactly is your job here Austin? To follow Diana around like a lost puppy?" He asked.

Austin snarled. "Say one more dog joke and I swear to god Marcus, I will rip you apart" he said, baring his teeth.

"Oh please, be a good boy and go sit in the corner" Marcus replied. 

I could see it click in Austin's face before the wolf himself grabbed Marcus and threw him into the wall. Immediately, Taron and Keian jumped to help stop the fight.

I had never seen Marcus hit anybody but he managed to already break Austin's nose. They both used their inhuman capabilities. Austin hit back, making Marcus hit the wall again.
I saw Marcus accidentally hit Keian but the faery soldier just kept trying to pull them apart.

Taron took ahold of Marcus, yanking him away from the fight as I felt someone stand next to me. "What an interesting day" Scathach said.

Austin jumped forward to try and reach Marcus but Keian simply pushed him back. "Enough!" Scathach ordered.

I flinched at her volume as she was standing right next to me. "Marcus, your father taught you better than this!" Scathach said, being very cross at him.

"My father is dead!" Marcus yelled back.

The room seemed to freeze. "What?" Scathach asked, confused. 

"He was the one who freed me, he realised what Diana meant to me and he let me go, they killed him just as I got out" he replied, lowering his eyes.

Scathach did as well. "Beannachd leat, a charaid" she muttered.

Taron let Austin go. "I think we all need to cool our heads, who's hungry?" He asked.

Austin walked out of the room soundlessly while Marcus wandered over to me and took me on his arms again.
Scathach, Keian and Taron all shuffled out the room.

I hugged Marcus back. "You should be a lot nicer to him, he's here protecting me" I said, loving the no warmth.

"I'm here now, so he can go away" Marcus replied.

"I'm means extra protection for me" I said.

Marcus sighed. "Please be nicer?" I asked.

"Okay, I'll try" he replied, pulling back and kissing my forehead.
