.
And so on.
.
"Ew," Petra gasped out, "Why are taking military food with us?"
"Because the list said so," Levi answered, stuffing his share in his camping bag.
I packed my share of things in my bag, struggling to make it fit. But, at last I managed to close it.
"Remember, we're gonna take turns on carrying this giant ass tent bag," Levi said, mostly looking at Petra, who gave a sheepish smile.
Out of the three of us, Petra was the one carrying the least amount of load from the list and our own essential needs.
We were all set, and the time is 6:09.
Perfect time to head out.
I racked my brain, making sure I didn't leave anything behind.
Levi opened the map given and his compass, and we officially began the expedition.
The person who's going to be holding the tent was me, and Levi would be leading.
In around 30 minutes time, Petra will be holding the tent bag with Levi still guiding the way.
30 minutes again, Levi would hold the bag, and -since Petra claimed herself to be terrible at maps and guiding- I would lead the way.
Then we'd take a break, and I'll take the tent again, and Levi would lead until we reach the site.
In return, once we reach the site, only Levi and Petra will be setting up the tent, while I rest.
It seemed like a good plan, and it seemed fair enough.

"I'm tired........." Petra wailed for the hundredth time, and Levi finally had enough of it.
"Give me the fucking bag Petra. (Y/N), lead," Levi snapped, handing me the map and compass as he took the bag from Petra.
The walk was tiring, so very tiring. At this point, I can barely feel my legs. Not to mention, after the break I'm going to have to carry the bag until we reach the site.
I groaned, this was way too tiring.
Minutes pass by in silence, the only sound heard were the crunching of our steps and the birds tweeting happily above us.
I kept on walking, making sure we were still on track every now and then, until finally Petra said, "Break, please. Here. Now."
I sighed in relief and sat on the floor instantly, and behind me I could hear Levi drop the tent bag he was carrying. I straightened out my sore legs, leaning on a tree, while taking deep breaths.
Petra handed us water and snacks and we gratefully ate them. I lied down, letting my legs rest a while longer before we continue.
Petra was the one who was knocked out most. She could barely even stand.
We rested for about 20 - 25 minutes, before Levi told us to start walking again.
I could feel my legs a bit, but the soreness was still there. Petra can barely walk, but Levi still seemed strong despite the fact he was just as tired as us.
I carried the bag sloppily, dragging my feet on the earthy ground.
It seemed to last forever, but finally Levi croaked out, "We're here. Grassy Overhang."
Hearing those words, it was safe for me to drop the bag and collapse on the floor, letting out an exhausted groan, darkness taking over me.

.
"(Y/N)."
"(Y/N), wake up."
I blinked open my eyes, seeing Petra's soft, tired gaze.
"We've finished the tent."
I nodded, getting up from my position.
"Levi is exhausted. He's taking a nap inside. I want to get some rest as well. Can you watch guard?"
I nodded again. "Sure."
Petra gave me a weak smile, before slipping in the tent for her nap. I thought about what she said.
Levi was insomniac. For him to have fallen asleep because he was tired means he really went overboard.
Though I know he would only be able to sleep for a little while.
I sat in front the tent, not really knowing what to do. I had to save my phone's battery. Plus, I don't think there's a signal out here.
I'm not as tired as I was before, but it was still there.
Getting up, I decided to explore around the area a little. A few meters away from where the camp was set, I saw something sticking out.
Slowly, I walked towards it, only to find out that this was the Grassy Overhang. I piece of land that poked out, rising higher than the rest.
It had a beautiful sight of the lake. I can only imagine when night falls, and I'd stand here, gazing at the lake that had reflected the stars and the beautiful moon, with it's thin mist covering it.
Hang on, that's perfect!
That's the perfect time, and perfect place for Petra to confess!
I know Levi loved the night, the stars and the moon. A confession on a grassy cliff that was hanging over a sparkling lake, with the light of the moon shining down on them.
It was perfect.
I smiled and headed back to camp, not forgetting to take a few looks at the plants around for the report we'll be making.
When I reached camp, Levi was already awake, reading a manual that we had taken from the supply room.
His familiar steel eyes darted to me.
"Hey. Come over here and help me make this fucking fire."
I scoffed playfully. "Alright you bitch, hold your tits."
Levi returned it with a playfull huff, scooting over for me as we both sat down and read the manual, trying to make the shitty fireplace.
"Hey... (Y/N)," Levi started, his eyes still on the book.
"Hm? What?"
"I--... no. Nothing."
I rolled my eyes. "If you want to say something, then say it. You're fucking wasting oxygen."
Levi clicked his tongue and stood up to find the rocks and sticks.
I glanced at him warily as he walked away.
I'm pretty sure he knew I was trying to help Petra get with him. And I doubt he has any feelings for her other than just friends.
But Petra has to try at the very least.
And what the hell was he going to say to me just now?
That he wanted me to stop helping Petra?
Or something else?
