Pyra breathed a sigh of relief and nodded. Then, excitement filled her mind to the brim as she realised she'd be with him once more. She affirmed the idea of confessing, properly this time, and hoped that he would return the feelings in the same way, if not greater.
Mythra took the liberty of chiming in before she could get ahead of herself, however, inviting her to quickly take a trip to Fonsett. She had a little blessing gift, that she wanted to give to her sister.

Pyra found Rex leaning back against the vinery near the entrance to the Forgotten Path, smiling proudly to himself. He was finally out of his salvager suit, now with a white shirt, some well-fitting black trousers and a few bracelets for accessories. Not so prime for combat. She skipped over to him in the last few steps, and he rose immediately as he revelled in her beauty. She wasn't wearing her normal outfit either, instead sporting red stockings on the bottom, and her Gormotti style hoodie on top.
"Pyra!" he exclaimed, before lowering his volume with each word he spoke. "You look, er, really great. H-How've you been?"
"Good." She tried her best to show him a poker face, pushing down her anticipation to just outright hug him. A mutual understanding was traded between their eyes, however, as they decided to forget it all and embrace in the calming view of the orange sky. Rex made sure to enjoy it, considering that her touch was what he missed most this past week.
"So, anyway," trying to play it cool, "let's hear the details." Asked Pyra eagerly.
Rex blinked twice, before audibly making a sound of realisation. "R-Right, the plan, um."
"For, the mission?"
"Hm. Yeah!" Rex smiled and scratched the back of his neck. "Since the land has changed, monsters may have reacted erratically and could possibly act violently towards any wanderers who may stumble upon this place." He stated in a rather forced manner, as if he recited it from the back of his mind. "I know I could have asked someone else, but I figured that you may have been bored, and I also wanted to spend some time with you."
Pyra clasped her hands together at his words, someone as young as him probably didn't even realise how much a thought like that could mean to her.
"You know me too well, let's go!"
The light struggled to seep through the canopies more and more as they trailed deeper into the path, and breaking tradition, Pyra sped up and walked side by side with her partner at his gesture. On the contrary, the monsters seemed more docile than ever - they livened the atmosphere, welcoming the two into their humble paradise. The land had changed for the better, petite waterfalls now flowing from the indents in certain tree branches, adding to the spectacle around them. Rex jumped whenever a few of the monsters made their appearance from out of the ground, and Pyra giggled as his curses to the Architect seemed to be in vain.
While enjoying her little journey, Pyra seemed to feel as if something was off. She scanned the area around her, even with the changes, everything seemed to be perfectly normal. "Rex?"
"Yeah?" He answered, looking up at her.
"Are you sure we're in the right area or something? Everything seems to be fine."
The Master Driver struggled to find an answer that would satisfy her. "We should just keep heading deeper, you never know. Anyway, you remember this place, right?" He asked, trying to change the subject.
While completely different than before, memories started to flood through her mind. "I do! This is where we first started our journey!" She giggled. "It's ironic that we're going back here now that our voyage is over."
