"¡Por supuesto por supuesto!" (Of course, of course!) She replied, practically running over to help me. My grandmother may be 86, but she still is as vibrant and energetic as she was when she was a teen.
"Entonces, ese chico te gusta. Fue muy amable de su parte hacer todo esto por ti. Me gusta el," (So, that boy you like. It was very kind of him to do all of this. I like him.)She beamed, gently grabbing the white metal and dragging it up the back of my lacy top. (Why does that sound like murder lol)
"Me gustaría más si él me hubiera dejado ayudar," she huffed, patting my shoulders and smiling in the mirror in front of us. (I'd like him more if he would've let me help.)
Ruby told my grandmother that he had everything handled and didn't want her to lift a muscle. Being the woman she is, she defied what he said and still tried to help. Abuela would even try to sneak into his house and write things on his plans. This caused Ruby's abuela and mine to become friends quickly.
"Él solo está siendo amable," I chuckled at her. (He's just being nice.)
"Extra," She mumbled under her breath causing us the both of us to fill the room with laughter.
When it died down, she patted at my hair.
"Simplemente te ves hermosa. No podría pedir una mejor nieta. Te amo," she smiled at me lovingly, tears pricking her eyes. (You simply look gorgeous. I couldn't ask for a better granddaughter. I love you.)
"Awww, abuela, yo también te amo" (I love you too.) I hug her while tears stream down our faces.
She soon pulls away and just looks at my face, cooing slightly. I chuckle and walk over to my makeup area, putting on my face. (LMAO 'putting on my face' I couldn't think of a different way to write this tho) I went for a bold rose gold-ish look. Because it perfectly described how i felt. Bold. I put on a deep red lipstick to complete my look.

After I finished, I decided to do my hair.
WHITE (I feel mean putting it like that. Sorry for how that sounds guys):
I curled my hair until it was loose and pinned two strands on each side of the front of my hair to the back with pure white - fake - flowers. (I really don't know how to explain this) I put more flower pins on the hair that elegantly flowed onto my back.
