It's Just The Beginning

"Dan was as hard on himself as he was on any of us. And he wouldn't have had anything to post if everyone hadn't been sending in tips." Serena says to us.

"I never sent in a tip." I say.

"Not even one?" Carter asks me.

"Not one. Why do you ask?"

"Because there was a tip that was sent in that I was wanted by the police and they had my DNA..." Nate couldn't keep from laughing. "What's so funny Archibald?"

"Sorry, uh yeah you might want to ask Chuck and Blair about that one." Serena adds as we all laugh at this inside joke that Georgina and Carter are left puzzled at.

"Well, like E, I never sent in one tip."

"Saint Nate," Georgina says under her breath.

"I wouldn't call being a cougar and sleeping with a married woman a saint." I point out.

"Thanks for reminding everyone E."

"I understand why you sent nothing in Archibald. One you're boring and lack the balls to do so. You couldn't even tell Princess Bass over here that you're in love with her before it was too late. I mean she never sent one in because..."

"Because Ella was always giving us advice how to deal with our problems and for a majority of high school and now she blocked Gossip Girl from her life and was unaware of all of the drama unfolding around her until we ran and shared it with her." Serena finishes for Georgina.

"I was going to say because she's little miss perfect, but she's your friend so describe her how you want."

"What was the worst thing Gossip Girl ever wrote about you? If anyone should be mad...it should be me or me and Blair."

"We're here!" Blair announces their arrival cutting Serena off.

"You're here!" Dorota can't hide her excitement and relief.

"So, everything okay?" Nate asks as they stroll into the living room.

"Well, Cyrus is finishing up at the police station. But we refused to talk."

"And since there's no actual evidence that Chuck was even on that roof and no witness...except his wife. They had no choice but to let us go." Blair is beaming with pride as she and Chuck are free once again.

"Bart's death will be ruled as an accident." Chuck turns to see Jack and moves to take the drink.

"No, this is actually for her." Dorota takes her drink and begins downing it.

"Miss. Blair, I was so worried about you and uh, Mr. Chuck. And brain exploding from lonely boy news. I need vodka."

"We all need lots of Vodka Dorota. And champagne, well everyone but you E." Blair comes over to kiss my cheek. "Because my niece or nephew needs to come out strong and healthy if they have even a chance to survive in this crazy world."

"Especially since you will be there aunt." I joke back.

"Your child will be one of the best-dressed children that will ever live. I will make sure of that."

"Keeping you to it Waldorf." Bair joins Chuck on the other couch.

"My mother and Lily are at Citarela right now getting food. We're gonna have a wedding reception." Dan rejoins us and Blair's disproval is evident. "And don't' even think that you will be invited, Humphrey. We read while we were waiting. You have a lot of explaining to do."

"What do you want to know, Blair?" Dan asks her.

"What do you look so amused for?" She directs her questions to Serena.

"Uh, it's just that I felt the same way until I realized that I' fine with it."

"Fine?" Serena and Dan look at each other.

"He stopped posting after our accident. He shut down the site." Chuck says trying to calm Blair down. "I mean, we always knew it was one of us, right?"

"I always thought it was Dorota!" Blair exclaims which causes Dorota to choke on her drink.

"You know, I actually thought it was Eric for a little bit. And then I thought it was you, Rufus." Serena says looks apologetically to Rufus.

"My dad? Come one."

"Hey! It could've been me. I always thought it was Nate or Ella."

"Really?"

"Yeah because you are friends with everyone and I just felt you would know everything that was going on."

"Did anyone think it could be me?"

"Georgina now gives a shit that you're even here right now." I yell at her.

"My money was on the blonde broad in London."

"Jack, she has a name. It's Jenny." I say to my uncle who just shrugs his shoulders.

"Still a broad."

"What do you all think this is funny? Gossip Girl ruined our lives!" Blair is getting all worked up.

If your life really ruined, Blair?" Chuck points out to her.

"If you think about it. We're all on track to do exactly what we wanted to do." Nate reminds everyone which everyone but Blair nods their heads.

"But he schemed and lied and spread horrible stories."

"Blair, I think you're just mad because Dan was the one who was pulling the strings all along." Serena tells her.

"This whole time, I had more power than you." Dan is loving this and I can't help but laugh at their little argument.

"But what he did with that power was write a love letter. Not just to me but to all of us. It made me realize I don't want to run away, that you guys are my family and I belong here. And so, does Dan." Serena reaches over the side table between her and Dan and takes his hand in her own.

"Well, I guess that means it's all over now. That we can all grow up and move on."

"Yeah, Gossip Girl's dead." Those few simple words have so much power behind them. Even though I didn't partake in the gossip the idea that this part of our life is over marks an end of an era. One where we leave our majority childish ways behind and now embark on what we want to do with our lives and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us.
