Chapter 36: Advice

"Come on Jimin, we have 5 minutes till we go and perform and I know you're going to do amazing, you just need to trust me and trust yourself, have faith in your voice cause it's so sweet and beautiful." He was being so encouraging it was adorable.

After just one last practice we were all called back to perform, Jungkook and I were told to go last, I think Mr. Osbourne was counting on us for a big finale... no pressure...

Everyone was really good, you would understand why we all chose music, everyone in this class was very talented. Listening to everyone else really wasn't helping my nerves.

When it was finally our turn to perform Jungkook held my hand and kissed my knuckles delicately, causing almost the whole class to erupt in "awww"s and "they're so cute"s.

I blushed before taking a deep breath as the music began;

I was glad that Jungkook had a lot to sing by himself first, as it gave me more time to get into the song and compose myself.

To be completely honest, I was happy with our performance, it went just as planned and we did sound very good together, apparently everyone else agreed as the whole class cheered for us both once it was over.

Jungkook bowed exaggeratedly and spun me round on the little stage making everyone laugh, he's so cute...

Mr Osbourne congratulated us for our performance and by that point it was the end of music and the start of what was unfortunately my second English lesson today...

Although, I don't hate English as much as I thought I was going to at the start of the day, Namjoon and I get along well and it seems I'm the only one this teacher doesn't hate so far.

As I got into the room and sat down Kyungsoo started a conversation with me, Mr. Wang wasn't in the classroom yet so he was asking me about my impression of the new teacher.

"Well I don't think he's as bad as everyone else does, he seems to like me, he's always trying to help me at least." I shrugged and Kyungsoo raised his eyebrows.

"Well it seems he hates absolutely everyone BUT you then, oh yeah what did he want to talk to you about when he kept you behind last time?" He asked but before I could answer the subject of our conversation walked through the doors making everyone go silent and open their books.

"Good afternoon class, I just want you to continue with the started work I gave you this morning, however I'm feeling in an even nicer mood this afternoon, so how about we do an exercise where you're allowed to move around the classroom and find a new partner after every English conversation is over between you and your last partner, no longer than 5 minutes per partner though. And NO misbehaviour, I'm trusting you to be sensible with this." I smiled to Kyungsoo beside me after hearing we could change partners multiple times through this activity.

Of course I first stuck with Namjoon and he helped me get back into the flow of using English, before I then moved on to talk to Kyungsoo.

"Hello." I giggled and he waved, "how are you Jimin?" He asked and I thought for a moment... "uhhh... Good? How are you?" I mumbled and he smiled and nodded "well done you answered right it's okay don't worry."

I sighed and calmed down, "thank you, I'm still not very good at this..." Just as we were about to start up our conversation again Mr. Wang was behind me, he put his hands on my shoulders and mumbled to us both, "I shouldn't hear any Korean around the room."
