"did you hear about what happened to felix?"

"i heard he got into a car accident."

"i heard he tried to commit suicide-"

"no, no, apparently he got beat up badly and hasn't woken up since."

izumi stopped in her tracks, turning to the group of girls who had so much to gossip about. the girls noticed izumi's glare, immediately straightening up as they avoided her eyes. 

"w-what? it's not like we're talking about you, mind your own business-"

"rich coming from someone who was just gossiping. how about you guys mind your own businesses instead of making things up and spreading rumours." izumi advised. one of the girl's scoffed, crossing her arms. 

"and who are you to tell me what to do? you're so busy flirting with every boy you see, you're just whoring around every chance you get, aren't you?" 

izumi's hands balled into fists, ready to punch the girl or something, but a body stepped in front of her before she could attack. "you girls should be heading to class now, or shall i tell your homeroom teacher what you guys are up to behind the school before lunch?" han jisung questioned.

the three girls glanced at one another before scurrying off. "thanks." izumi mumbled as jisung turned around to face her. he shook his head.

"it was no problem, but..." he hesitated, wondering if this was the best time to bring up the situation. "are you sure you're okay? i heard from changbin hyung that you were the one who found felix." 

"your friends with changbin?" she questioned, surprised at their friendship.

"hm? ah yeah, well i hang out with him and chan hyung from time to time." jisung explained. "but you still haven't answered my question."

"oh, that." izumi sighed, shrugging her shoulder. "well, i'm fine i guess. i mean, he'll be fine, right?" jisung gave her a bright smile, nodding his head. he knew that she just needed reassurance right at that moment.

"of course. if he has you by his side, felix can get through anything." izumi gave a weak smile, nodding her head. 

"thanks."
