It took Chris thirty minutes to come back with Victoria, after he left Alexia alone in the waiting room, and deep down she knew it was because he had to explain everything to his wife; things like why did their daughter looked like hell, or way couldn't she sit straight without moaning in pain, or why was she so lost in her own thoughts.

"Hunny." Her Mom pulled her in for a hug, and Alexia was too tired to pretend like she didn't want one; cause only god knew how much she did, "How are you?"

"I'm... I'm ok."

"Alexia?" Melissa's voice called the Argent's attention, and Lexi turned around to face Scott's mother, "I heard what happened. How are you doing?"

"Hey," She took a minute to bottle up her strength to lie, "I'm like new."

"That was... That was my fault." The woman apologized, "I'm so sorry."

"No, no." Alexia shook her head, "It wasn't, Melissa. I guess we were just in the bad place, at the wrong time."

Melissa looked down, she wanted to believe the girl, but she just couldn't. She was worried about Alexia, maybe it was because she heard how much Scott cared about her, when she overheard him talking to Stiles on the phone the previous night, or maybe it was just because she was just a kid, just like her son.

The Argents drove home, without saying anything, which wasn't a big surprise. When they got home, Gerar wasn't there, and Alexia couldn't have been more thankful.

"You both need to rest, so go on."

Alexia climbed up the stairs and went to her room, she sat down on her bed and reached for her phone. She had tons of texts, and she quickly realized Allison had tried to warn her to get out of the Station; only it had been too late. If only Allison had told her the whole story when Alexia asked for it, maybe things would have been different. There was a text from Erica too, she was worried, she had heard about what happened. And then there was another one from Stiles.

She answered Erica and Stiles with another text, telling them she was ok; at least she planned on being soon, so it wasn't really a lie. After, she noticed the four missing calls from Scott. Her heart skipped a beat, and she felt sorry for the way she had treated him, but she was still confused and angry; she couldn't bring herself to call him back.

Alexia put the phone on her desk, and started taking off her bloody dress. She managed to take a long shower, and when she was finished, she looked at herself in the mirror. There were no scars to tell her the story of that night, it was like it had never happened.

She spent the rest of the afternoon laying down on her bed. Lexi was drowning in that feeling of just wanting to hide under the blankets and pillows and sleep deeply and never woke up. She wanted someone to wake her up only when her heart stopped breaking into a million pieces.

Allison arrived from school, and quickly walked up to her sister's bedroom. She didn't knock, she just opened the door, and found Alexia laying down - the same way she had when her parents died and she couldn't seem to get up - and walked in.

"Can we talk?"

Alexia sat up straight on her bed, without moaning from pain this time, "I don't feel like talking."

"I understand that you're upset, Lexi." Allison stepped forward.

"No, I don't think you do."

There was a small moment of silent, before the raiven-haired girl spoke up again, "You were brave, the other night."

She turned her back on her sister, getting up from the bed, "No, I wasn't."

"When you're afraid and still do it, that's bravery, Lexi."
