Finally the news reporters were following us around all day to interview us. They would be recording us for hours and we had to make this engagement look real. A month later and everything has been chill. Ricky hasn't been working at Lemonade, if anything he's just focusing on his other businesses. Grant still has a neck brace on, I saw him at an event and the tension between him and Ricky were real. Ricky apologized to his mother but I could tell he's over the both of his parents. Ricky hired a new assistant name Chrissy while Dreux and Kamaya take turns managing the club. She's cool but I can tell she has a crush on Ricky, and Payton will probably try to bully her as well. I've been working at True night lounge and being low-key about it. I don't take pictures at all and I don't talk to any of the men that try to holler at me. Not even half the population at this damn job. I was still bringing money in from my online job, just entering data for this small business. Since I wasn't working at the club anymore I had time to focus on these two jobs and still make my appearances at his events. So far I made about 4,700 dollars this month with both my jobs combined. Ricky returns in the house around 4-5 am; so by the time I'm off then picking up Morgan and Jace from Erica's house, were in bed like it never happened. "Hey Nancy" I greeted her. "Hey" she smiled setting up her camera. I wore a grey sweater and a colorful houndstooth skirt with yellow stilettos pretending I had somewhere to be this early "Just be as natural as possible" she said. I fluffed Morgan's ponytail while she drunk her apple juice. The interviewer asked me a few questions about our daily routine and the upcoming event we have coming up. "We have a- uhhh" I said getting a brain freeze. I walked over to Ricky standing in front of him
"Baby, what's the name of the event again? I asked fixing his tie. "Follow your dreams panel" he answered. "Oh, yes that's it" I said giving a forced smile. "Were getting a few public speakers/ professionals and even young children that have their own business to inspire the youth to follow their dreams. Especially some of the children that are sick, we want to encourage them that just because their sick doesn't mean they can't become want they want to be" Ricky explained.
"Isn't that right? He asked Morgan. "Yup" she smiled nodding her head. The camera lady paused
"So after breakfast we take Morgan to school and then I'll go to his meetings with him" I explained. I literally had to schedule a meeting for him that wasn't needed this week. We were all now in the car taking Morgan to work while she continued to ask us questions.
"What makes your family work? How do the both of you stay in love? She asked. I coughed a little "Um...
"Babe, you answer this one" he said placing his hand on my thigh squeezing it.
"No, I want to hear what you think honey" I looked at him pushing his hand down.
"We just communicate with one another. I think in engagements and marriages people take it serious sometimes, you can be in a union but still have fun but also give your partner their space. But, my fiancé is amazing, so that's how that works" he said tapping my thigh
