"R-really you w-would do th-that?"
"Yeah, why not? I have too many as it is." Hunter smiles wide at me with her front tooth missing.
"Thanks!"
And that is the story of how Hunter and I cemented our friendship on this very porch swing.

︾Hunter's POV︽
"I can't believe how terrible that dance was." Hunter huff as we sit down on the porch swing in my backyard.
"I know! I mean I don't think I heard a song from this century." Maia giggles waving her hands around, as I lick my blue moon ice cream.
"I actually think I heard one." I offer
"No, that one was just one that was re-released" Avery replies
"Ok, I knew it was too good to be true." I nod and we all begin to giggle. I look at Avery, holy cow is she beautiful.
"Oh! Oh! Did you see Johnny? He was dancing so bad!" Maia chortles, I swear if I was an outsider looking in I would think we were drunk."
"It's karma I say. After what he did to my doll, I swear he deserves it." Again we erupt into laughter.

"This is also where Hunter and I had our first kiss." Avery's eyes turn blissful and she places her hand over her heart.

☽Avery's POV☾
Wow, she is beautiful, her skin looks amazingly soft.
"Hey, Av! Come sit with me." Hunter pats the spot next to her on the porch swing. Ugh! I just wanna wrap my arms around her and never let her go. "Avery? Are you gonna sit down?"
"Oh, yeah." I gingerly sit on the porch swing, careful not to rock it so much.
"Maia should be here in fifteen minutes." I can't help but frown because I want more time alone with Hunter.
"What's wrong Av? Aren't you happy that Maia is coming?"
"What? No, that's not it. It's just," deep breaths, you can do this "I wanted to spend more time alone with you." I can feel my cheeks heat up, and I can see Hunter's eyes widen.
"R-really?" Oh crap.
"Yeah, oh no that's weird, god I'm an idiot, I just..." Hunter places her warm hand on my shoulder, effectively stopping my rambling.
"Hey, no, don't worry, I feel the same way." Hunter scoots herself closer to me and wraps her arms around me. The warmth of her hug sends electricity coursing through me. We pull away slightly and look into each other's eyes. Does she feel the same way about me as I feel about her? Oh, my god, she is leaning in! What do I do? I lean in and our lips meet in pulsating electricity. Welp! I'm a puddle, a stupidly happy puddle. Our lips mold perfectly together as if they were made for each other as if we were made for each other.
"Well it is about damn time, you two have been ogling each other for ages." Ugh! Maia, couldn't you have waited like 10 more minutes. Hunter and I begrudgingly pull apart and her face turns tomato red, I'm sure my face is just as red.

"Yeah, we had some amazing times." Avery and Hunter nod in agreement.
"Girls! Breaks Over!" Collective groans erupt from our throats. I guess our reminiscing had to end sometime.
