Wishful thinking.
"How?" I asked slowly.
Ghost just laughed and returned my phone to me. "I'm not a thief when I return it." He winked at me.
"Ellie, give me a second and I'll be back. " Nate said from behind me. I nodded my head without turning, not wanting to have Ghost out of my sight.
"So Ghost, are you a ghost?"
Ghost threw his head back and laughed. I watched him carefully.
"No, I can't walk through people...yet"
"Pretty ironic." I told him.
"But I can disappear." Ghost replied back. I cocked my eyebrows at him.
"Let's go, Ellie." Nate said from behind me. I looked over my shoulder to see a plastic bag in his hand and then looked back to Ghost-
-only he wasn't there.
"His disappearing acts are getting old." Nate sighed, walking towards the front door. I trailed behind him, my eyes glancing around to see if Ghost just ran to a hiding spot. But it was like he disappeared all together.
No way... His disappearing act freaked the flowers out of me.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?" I screeched in a whisper at Nate who, mind you, was getting ready to sleep. In my house. In my room. In my bed. The plastic bag he had brought with him was his spare clothes and essential. I thought he was going somewhere else but not my house.
"I'm sleeping here." Nate said so casually, like it was normal to sleep over.
I raised my eyebrows at him. "Are you insane?"
"No."
"We are fighting! We are not meant to be talking!" I told him.
Nate pulled his jeans jacket off and threw it into my open closet. He pulled his shirt over his head, his bare chest slapping my face. His whole back and stomach was coated with dark ink, words and pattern designs filling every space. He put on a black t-shirt and just as quick covered it all.
"We won't be talking, we'll be sleeping."
"Why the hell do you think you'll be sleeping here?"
"Because I need to talk to you first thing tomorrow when you're not being a bitch."
I blinked at him. "You what?"
Nate rolled his eyes at me and climbed on the bed. "Just get in bed and we'll talk tomorrow morning."
I didn't move. First of all, seeing Nate in my bed was a sight to devour and secondly, he was totally insane. "You don't understand Nate, you need to listen to yourself."
"Just get in the bed Ellie and explain why in the morning."
I shook my head at him. "No Nate, you need to leave."
Nate let out deep sigh. "I can't leave alright."
"Why not?"
"Look- I'm still not okay after visiting my dad. Just this night, can I have a peaceful sleep."
I stared at him, utterly rendered speechless and in shock. I was taken aback by how he felt the need to sleep in bed with me just after visiting his dad.
Let him have this night.. Good Ellie put forward.
You can always cuddle... Trouble Ellie piped up, always seeking for any sort of physical touches.
I took a deep breath and glanced at the door. My father was leaving for his trip to another City in the morning, to work on one of his high demand case and the like hood that he would come in my room was next to nothing. But then the maids were another worry so I turned towards the door and turned the key. I wasn't allowed to lock my room, only for extreme measures and right now it called for an extreme measure.
I turned around to face Nate, who was leaning against my headboard. He was tucked under the covers, watching my every move carefully with disclosed eyes. "No touching and we'll have a pillow in between us."
I wasn't comfortable in bed because normal I liked sleeping with the covers partly thrown over me and my legs spread apart. Of course that wasn't possible. One thought that kept flashing right before me was the fact that I was locked in my own room with Nathaniel Lewis in my bed.
Sleep was a myth.

I heard soft murmurs coming from my next to me.
"Just make sure nothing happens to Andy. Ellie will flip."
I frowned in my sleep. Why would I flip?
"Ghost, you're my little cousin and you will do as I fucking say. Just make sure Andy is alright."
The soft voice faded slowly and I fell into another darkness as sleep engulfed me.

I woke up with something warm and heavy on my thigh and something hard pressed against my backside. I scrunched up my nose, my mind taking far too long to process what was going on.
Until a soft groan reached my ear. I snapped my eyes open and it immediately landed on the tattooed hand that snaked around my waist. I focused on the hard thing that was pressing against my backside and my eyes widened when I realised what that thing was.
It came back to me then, how Nate decided to stay over the night, regardless of the fight we had previously. How we kissed under the guard's flashlight and how I met Ghost and his chilling disappearing act.
"Oh my flowers!" I whispered, itching away and pretending I did not just wake up with Nate and his-
Nate groaned again, shoving his face in my neck and pulling me back into his chest. Where the hell did the pillow go?
"Morning guys," a different voice came from in front of us.
Oh my flowers.
This cannot be happening right now.
I lifted up my head slowly, willing every possible thing worth willing for that who's voice I heard was not in my room. But there she was, sitting on my chair with her legs crossed at the knee and in her perfect peach suit.
My Mother.

Hey guys! Another update! I'm really sorry if this chapter was beyond rubbish. I personally think it was so err yeah.
Also, I was thinking of doing a FAQ book since I've been getting a lot of similar questions regarding the Garments Series. If you guys think I should do it then just leave me a comment and I'll do it :)
And I was also thinking of putting what story and chapter, in the garment series, to read next so you won't get as confused. So..
