Chapter 5| the iron knee to the brother hood

"What the hell are you doing on my family's trail?" I ask.

He jumped a bit. I scared him! One point for me! Go me, go me. I mentally dance inside my head.

"My bike started to act funny so I pulled off into one of the trails" he says shurgging.

"Bullshit the main road is two miles away from here." I said thorwing my hands in the air.

"Ok, so half of that's true, but I can't leave untill I fix my bike." Hunter says with a smirk.

I walk up to him and the bike. He had the battrey lid open. No wonder it not running right one of the battrey cables is about to fall off!

"Your battrey cable is about to fall off." I say and I didn't mean to say it! crap, crap, crap. Why did I say that for! I mentally face palm myself.

"What'd you say? Did you just say the cable's lose?" He says looking at me. Then looked at the cable he jiggled it and it was really lose.

"No, I didn't say anything. You must heard the wind." I say look at the trees that are starting to change. Trying to avoid eye contact.

"You said something along the lines of the battrey cable is lose." Hunter says getting up with his trade mark smirk plasted to his face.

"No, I don't think I said anything." I say shaking my head and making the duck face.

Hunter took a step forward. I took a step back. forward. back. forward. back. that kept going until my back hit a big tree. Hunter put his hands on the tree right by my arms to cage me in. his face was too close for my liking.

"How did you know that cable was lose?" Hunter asked huskily.

"I just happen to see it." I say shrugging while looking over his shoulder.

"See the thing is most girls won't know what that is. How did you know what it was?" he asks leaning closer to me.

"Brothers?" I say more as a question.

"Why do you act stupid, When you know what I'm talking about." he says brushing his lips against mine. Is it me? Or did he feel that spark too?

"I am not acting stupid, I just happen to know what that was."

"Stop lying." Hunter whispers kissing my nose. If he's trying to make me spill of what I also know, he has another thing coming. I kick my knee up and hit him in his brother hood. He fell to the ground whaling out in pain.

"Did you really think I couldn't get out of that one? I have 6 brother, I've learned a thing or two." I say with a hand on my hip.

"Damn women, what do you have a iron knee?" Hunter says crying out in pain. He was rolling on the ground holding his crotch. Let me tell you it was the best thing I have ever seen in my life. The bad boy is roll on the ground because he just got hit in the mcnuggets by a girl, priceless!

"Your fine get up, there was nothing there to begin with anyways." I say then I busted out laughing.

"There was, but probably not anymore." He says still on the ground.

Let me give you the image here. You have a quiet girl who is on the ground laughing her butt off and a bad boy who's rolling on the ground holding his crotch in pain. Can I just say today is the greatest day of my life.

"Well you have fun there I'm just going to go." I say standing up while wiping the tears from my eyes.

"I'm going to get you back for this." Hunter says getting up as well, wincing in pain.

"Whatever, if you do, it won't be as bad as my brothers." I say rolling my eyes.

"Telling the whole school your real name?" He say cockily.

"Brother 3 told everybody in the 7th grade." I say walking away.

"Fine, Then go on a date with me."

I turned around and busted out in laughter.

"What?" He says confused.

"No, I'm good." I say between a laughs.

"What's so bad going on a date with me?" He ask with a pout.

"Hunter Redmen, known as the school player/ bad boy. Want's to take Annie jay Bluzchip quiet, shy girl lets not forget good girl, out on a date?" I say look at him with a eyebrow raised.

"Yes, you interest me, You are not like the other girls." Hunter said look down at the ground.

"Fine I'll go on this date, but I want to let you know I'm not looking for a boyfriend yet. I just got out of year realationship." I say.

"It's just a date I'm not ask you to marry me." Hunter says smiling and chuckling. The smile that he is showing is a true smile. It's not smirk, it's a true smile. Let me tell you I really like it on him.

"Ok, ok calm your man tits down, I'm just telling you." I say.

"Give me your number so I can text you later." Hunter says.

We exchange our numbers. I said good bye an started to walk home when I stop dead in my tracks. because it just hit me, I just argeed to go on a date with Hunter Redmen the player of our school. Plus he was being nice to me, well kinda.

Did he have a drug on his lips when he brushed them across mine? That made me lose my train of thought or something?
