Chapter Eight: Not Again.

"Maybe it's a misunderstanding..I'll just have to ask Lisa about it later," You thought to yourself.

~Time Skip To The End Of The Day~

It was the last period, Bart didn't show up for any of the afternoon classes which was odd for you. You didn't see him at all after lunch.

(Y/n) decided to take a quick break. She asked the teacher if she could go get a drink at the water fountian, inwhich they allowed her to go.

She was walking around the halls. Maybe she would see Bart somewhere. While she was walking, she heard something in the distance. it was..crying? it wasn't very loud but she could make out what the noise was. This peaked her interest, her curiosity got the best of her so she started making her way to the source of the noise.

The noise started to become louder, it was definetly crying but it sounded like it was coming from a male. the noise lead her to a gender-neutral bathroom in the seclueded part of the school.

She made her way in quietly. She peaked her head in, she sees a male huddling. His back is to the wall, he's softly sobbing to himself.

"Wait..he looks oddly familiar.." She gets a better look at him. Her eyes widened.

"Bart?" She questions. She didnt mean to say that out loud. He looked up at her with puffy eyes. He quickly wiped his eyes with his hands.

She was shocked. Never in a million years would she ever think of him the type of person to cry, you quickly went to his side.

You noticed that he got another black eye, his  lips were busted once more and his nose was bleeding, it looked fractured. Half of his face was swollen and he had bruises on his arm. He even had some bruising on his neck.

"Bart!? What happened? Are you okay?" You questioned as you put your hand on his shoulder.

"J-jeez, no need to treat me like a baby, (Y/n)," Bart snapped at you. You didnt say anything, you just gave him a look.

"Sorry..Listen, I'm fine, I just fell..that's all," He lied.

"Bullshit, this doesn't happen when you fall, Bart,"

He stayed silent, not knowing what to say.

You sighed heav‎ily.

"We need to get you to the nurses office again," You stated.

"What? No! No way in hell!" Bart retorted.

"Uh yes Bart! You look horrible, this is the second time in a row that you've been beaten up-"

"I wasn't beaten up!" Bart cut you off.

"I find that hard to believe. Please Bart, we need to get you to the nurse!"

"Like I said I'm fine! I'm not going!"

"Please Bart! You have to!"

"No!"

"Bart, if you don't cooperate, I will literally drag you to the nurses office by your hair," You threatened.
