Chapter 6: Initiation

Cayde: *Thoughts* Well, ask and you shall receive

Y/n pov

Me and Owen were running through the woods, jumping gaps, free running through the trees and obstacles that came our way

I was on the look out for Owens breakfast until I saw a potential candidate

Y/n: An Alpha Beowolf? You think you can-

The moment I turned to Owen he was gone. Then I heard a snap and whimper. I turned around and saw Owen looking at me with an innocent look on his face while holding the neck of the once alive Beowolf in his mouth

Y/n: Nevermind

While Owen started eating his breakfast I started to shoot arrows at a tree for target practice. Once Owen was done we returned back to Beacon before the initiation started and before the students woke up

We got back just before the students got up. By the time we returned to the form Connor was already up

Connor: Where were you guys?

Y/n: Went to get Owen breakfast

Connor: Oh, well then since you're ready it's time for our initiation

Y/n: Ok then, let's go

3rd pov

Y/n told Owen to stay in the dorm until they came back. Y/n and Connor walked through the halls of Beacon, gaining the attention of all the students. Some whispered

Student: Yo, who are they?

Student 2: Hey are they new?

Student 3: Maybe

Just then they heard a scream and all the students rushed for their weapons. Y/n and Connor turned around and saw Owen following them

Y/n: *Thoughts* Just like when he was a pup, never leaves our side

A student tried to hit Owen in the head with a mace but Owen caught it with his mouth, pulled it out of his grip, used his tail to make the student fall to the ground, sat on him and then farted

Y/n chuckled at this while Connor was full on laughing his ass of on the ground. Before any of the students can also attack and help the student, Y/n did a quick whistle and Owen snapped his attention to Y/n. He got off the student and went towards Y/n and Connor who had gained his composure back, but was still chuckling

After the whole incident in the hallway, Y/n, Connor, and Owen were at the cliff waiting for the initiation to start. Once Ozpin and Goodwitch arrived they started setting up

Connor: So, how does this work?

Ozpin: Well, the students are launched into the sky and must come up with a landing strategy. Once they have landed in the forest the first person they see become partners and will be until they graduate Beacon. The main objective is to find and obtain artifacts located around the forest while killing as many Grimm as possible

Connor: Anything else?

Ozpin: Yes, there are some ruins nearby, so be on the lookout

Y/n: When do we start?

Ozpin: Just step on the platforms

Connor went to the platform and waited for Y/n who was telling Owen to stay behind with Ozpin and Goodwitch. Y/n then went to his platform and waited for the launch

Ozpin: Do you mind if we broadcast this to the whole school?

Connor: Sure

Then Connor was launched into the forest and Y/n looked back at the Professors
