I watched her sleep while I planted kisses on her shoulder. She slowly moved around "I'm sorry Mia" I said. She turned around looking at me. "You okay? She asked. "No" he admitted. "I feel like it's my fault" he said. He sighed "I'm invested in this barbershop I planned on opening in the fall, I decided to show Ricky then Cortez and Ronnie decided to tag along. Ronnie's back was facing the window and gunshots started aiming at us. We didn't even see it coming" he shook his head. Mia looked at him caressing his face "You were opening a barbershop? She asked. "Yeah, I was going to surprise maybe I should've proposed then" he said. "Yeah" she looked down. "It's not your fault baby, somethings we can't control. No knew that was going to happen" she said
"I was just talking to him on the phone the other day, we just saw him 8 fucking hours ago and now he's gone" he said. She frowned hugging him. "I don't even know what to say Dreux, I'm so sorry" she frowned.
Josie walked with Morgan into school. She wanted to check the status of Morgan's tuition to see if it was paid for the rest of the semester. Only 3 more months of school left and it would suck if Morgan would have to switch schools again. Josie was petrified to know but she had to prepare herself. She couldn't even imagine looking at Morgan's face when she tells her she has to switch schools. She is thriving there wonderfully and is the social butterfly of her class. "Okay be good princess, I'll see you later" I hugged her. "Bye Jo..." she smiled running off with her friends as her beads switched back and forth. Josie sighed walking into the financial office. "Good morning, how may I help you? The receptionist asked
"Hi, I want to know the status on Morgan Wilson's tuition, is it paid for or?
"Sure I can look that up for... give me one second"
Josie felt her phone vibrate she looked at the call from Dreux. She figured it was about Ricky she placed it back in her pocket. "Hmmm, what's her last name again? She asked
"Wilson" I said scared. "Oh, I thought you said Williams I'm sorry" she said. "Oh, no" I nervously laughed. "Hmm, let me see something really quick" she said looking through at the screen. If Ricky stopped paying for her tuition she understands but a nice heads up would be sufficient.
"Yes, it was paid for 10 days ago" she said. I felt relived "Thankyou" I smiled. "No problem ma'am" she said. Josie quick grabbed her phone calling Dreux back as she walked down the hall. "Hello" she answered.
"Hey um Josie" Dreux answered his voice sounded jittery. "Please don't tell me it's Ricky-
"Ronnie died this morning" Dreux said. I stopped immediately, my heart began racing. "We were at my shop and he got hit. Gunshots were going everywhere and he had to getting shot about 5 times in his back" he explained. I felt heartbroken "Wow, Oh my GOD" I said running my hands through my hair. I unlocked my car door walking to it. I felt eerie I had a dream that Ricky got shot this morning and then I wake up to find out it was actually Ronnie. Ronnie that wouldn't harm a soul. I got inside shutting the door I felt myself beginning to cry. "Is Ricky okay? I wiped my eyes but the tears wouldn't stop. "I don't know... but I think the hit was for him" he said choked up. "I'm gonna call you back" I said hanging up. They killed the wrong guy? "I'm so sorry Ronnie this wasn't supposed to happen to you" I was glad I got to talk to him one more time and to tell him how good of a guy he was. If Dreux wasn't doing good I know Ricky wasn't. I sent him a text not even caring about our fallout we can deal with that later. I just want to make sure he's okay.

"Hey Ricky, its Josie. I'm sorry about your loss. Are you okay?
Read: 9:00 am
I waited a few minutes to see if he would reply but it shortly said "read". I sighed closing my phone as I drove off. I didn't get him, I know he isn't doing okay and now that Ronnie is dead. I don't want to beef with him anymore. Just thinking that they meant to kill Ricky instead bothered me, which means they won't stop until they get him and here we are not talking.
