Chapter 7: Arrow

She left and began to look for her Servamp. Now. Now her body began to feel weird.

'I have to find her!'

Meanwhile with Crystal

"Man. What is life? Do I have a purpose? I mean... I do but I'm talking about a better purpose," said Crystal.

She was taking a walk to clear her head. Crystal pulled on her hood and walked pass the people to a park. She sat down near the edge in front of the water.

"Maybe I should just do my task and leave? I'm putting all my friends into danger. I can't handle this. I want to die," she said.

"I can help with that."

Crystal saw a reflection in the mirror about to being down a sword so she jumped out the way.

Crystal looked to see a boy with green hair and red eyes.

'Sakuya Watanuki'

Crystal remembered Mahiru talking about him before and seeing him a couple times in school. "Hello Crystal," he said. "Hello Sakuya," she replied.

"How do you know my name?"

"Mahiru. What happened to the friend that Mahiru liked?"

"Shut up!!!!"

Sakuya stepped closer to her. "Mahiru and I aren't friends, why can't he see that?"

"And why can't you see he cares for you?"

"Shut up! I'm just here to do my job and leave!" Sakuya charged at Crystal and she dodged again.

'This is bad. Kaida's not here to give me strength or to lead me.'

Crystal summoned her weapon and blocked his next attack. Crystal felt a string come past her and cut her. She turned a bit and saw another person not too far away. Otogiri. How does she know? The files Yukino gave her.

'There's another one of them? Not good.'

Crystal was so focused on Sakuya that she didn't even know what Otogiri was doing.

Otogiri began attacking her from the back and poor Crystal was having so much trouble. You can tell from the hits she got. Was their order to kill her?

Kaida finally found her Servamp but did not like the sight she was seeing. She looked to see Otogiri had some kind of bow and arrow. It had a skull on it and had darkness coming from it and Kaida knew getting hit by it wasn't going to be good. She could also see Otogiri aim it at Crystal.

'No! I have to hurry!'

She began to run faster and Otogiri let go of the arrow.

"Crystal, watch out!!!"

The arrow went straight through the said girl and shadows came all around her and in and out of the girl while her irises were pitch black.

The girl screamed in pain.

"CRYSTAL!!!!!!!!!!"

By this time, the two subclasses left.

The shadows disappeared with a little boom. Crystal stopped screaming and moving, she began to fall. Kaida ran up and caught her Servamp.

She observed her body to see strange black markings on her. Kaida also saw her irises still pitch black. All of a sudden, she changed to a dragon still with the markings and laid still in Kaida's arms and eyes closed.

"C-crystal? W-what did they d-do to you?" she asked holding her Servamp close.

Kaida screamed out crying.
