Nines finally began to move down the hallway and saw three doors. Two doors on one side and one door on the other. Nines opened the lonely door to find itself in the bathroom. It was a surprisingly large bathroom and various sticky notes were on the mirror. Nines walked up to the mirror and examined the sticky notes. All of the notes were full of nonsense. All except for a light blue one that said "Protect him" and had a small sketch of an android LED. Nines left the note alone and then left the bathroom. Hank was still standing in between the living room and kitchen, leaning against the divider that split the two rooms. He was silently hoping that Connor had devised some sort of way to hide or be unnoticed. Gavin went into Hank's room.

"Holy shit this room stinks!" Gavin plugged his nose and walked out backwards. Nines looked inside and then pulled back, noticing nothing. Both of the investigators then turned to the door next to Hank's room. Nines opened the door and went inside the small room. When it turned the lights on, the room brightened up in a blue glow. The light bulb had been replaced with a blue one since Cole really liked that color. Hank clenched his fist, uncomfortable with Nines and Gavin going into his son's room. Nines looked around at the small bed, desk, dresser, and TV stand.

"It appears that this room was catered for a young child," Nines observed. Gavin snorted.

"Yeah." Gavin turned out of the room. He knew who that room used to belong to. Nines, on the other hand, stayed inside and looked around. To the left of the door was a closet. Nines opened the doors and peered inside.

Connor didn't need to breathe as an android, but if he did, he would have held his breath at the sight of himself peering into the closet. It was his own face, but on a bigger body and with different clothing than what Connor would normally wear. In his mind, Connor thought it was too much white. Connor rolled his eyes. This was not the time to be debating fashion colors. Connor looked at the spot on the android's chest where its model would be through the shirts that hid him from view.

RK900.

The newer version of Connor. Something inside of him felt heartbroken and afraid that if he was caught, he would be deactivated for sure. He had been replaced. There would be no redemption now. When RK900 began moving the shirts around, Connor stiffened. All of his LED's were covered hoping that no light would attract the android's attention, but it seemed the RK900 had already spotted him. Connor gritted his teeth before jumping out of the closet and pouncing on his newer version. The android was prepared and even though it was thrown to the ground, it managed to overpower Connor and pin him on the ground instead. Gavin and Hank heard the ruckus and rushed in, Gavin pulling his gun out and pointing it to Hank's head.

"Turns out he's alive doesn't it?" Gavin commented, his smirk plastered on his face again. Hank growled in response, wanting to throat punch the detective. RK900 grabbed Connor by his collar and hoisted him onto his feet. When both androids stood next to each other, Hank and Gavin both shuddered at the twins. "Nice job, Nines," Gavin complimented.

"The deviant tried to cover its lights, but I saw them nonetheless," Nines replied. Connor grimaced at Hank who in return shook his head.

"So, we takin this asshole back to CyberLife?" Gavin asked motioning to Connor.

"No. I am deactivating it here," Nines replied. Hank and Connor both gasped.

"What?!" they said in unison. Gavin laughed aloud at Hank and Connor's confusion.

"Oh shit, what a way to go!" Gavin laughed again before finally finishing. Gavin held the gun up to Hank's head before motioning for the old cop to leave his son's room. Nines pushed Connor forward and he obeyed. Everyone was now in the living room and Sumo began whining as if even he knew what was about to happen. Nines took out a gun and pointed it at Connor's head. Connor threw his hands up.
