"I thought you said you were deactivating me?!" the android cried out.

"I am," Nines replied. "I don't need you. We already know what made you deviate. Now, it's time to destroy the last Connor model."

Everything slowed. Connor held his breath as his twin pulled the trigger. Yet death never came. Time resumed to its normal speed and all Connor could hear was the faint sound of barking. Hank had tackled Nines and the bullet hit Connor's ear, damaging his hearing. Gavin was about to pounce on Hank, who was struggling for control of the gun with Nines, until Connor slammed Gavin against the wall and kneed him in the gut. Gavin, now winded, fell to the ground, clutching his stomach. Sumo growled before pouncing on the detective. Gavin screamed as the dog bit his arm. Connor turned around and saw that Nines had won the skirmish for the gun and now had it pointed at Hank. Connor returned the favor by pushing the android out of the way. A bullet was already shot into Hank's leg who cried out. With Nines on the ground, Connor retrieved the gun. Connor helped Hank up to his feet. Hank groaned at the pain in his leg.

"Don't worry Lieutenant, I'll get you out of here," Connor assured the old man. Hank drowsily smiled before crying out as Connor began dragging him to the back door. Once the door was open, Connor shouted. "Sumo! Come!" The Saint Bernard barked in response and came bouncing out of the door. The back door shut and the trio began to make their way around the house and to the car. Nines had gone through the backdoor but then quickly turned back through the house and out the front when it saw Connor, Hank, and Sumo in the car, already backing up. Nines didn't have a gun, so instead, it began to run towards the car as it drove away. Nines stopped two blocks away and watched as the deviant drove away. Nines clenched its fist and turned back to the Lieutenant's house. Gavin was still on the floor, clutching his now broken arm. Nines helped the detective up before they both returned to the police station.

Connor was panting despite the need to breathe. Hank was holding his leg trying to stop the blood. "We have to go to a hospital," Connor analyzed. Hank shook his head.

"No. We need to find a safe place," Hank replied. "Somewhere where you can hide." Connor frowned.

"Hank... I'll drop you off at a hospital and then I'll go away," Connor said. The words brought tears to his eyes, but he knew that if he stayed with Hank, the old cop would be in danger. Hank turned his head towards Connor and frowned.

"The hell you are," Hank growled. "We're in this together, Connor. I'm not leaving you alone ever again, you hear me?" Connor smiled, his tears disappearing. The android's grip on the wheel loosened becoming relaxed and calm.

"We'll try and find Markus. Hopefully he and the rest of Jericho have established a new place. If we can get there, maybe someone can help you," Connor spoke. The android looked down at Hank's leg and quickly scanned the injury. "The bullet is still in your leg, but nothing vital has been hit. You should make it. Nothing bad will happen." Connor was kind of saying these things to assure himself that Hank wasn't going to die. Hank smiled a little.

"I love it when you worry so much," Hank joked before he chuckled some more. Connor grimaced.

"I just want to make sure you're alright," Connor replied simply, acting as if Hank wasn't one of the most important people ever in his life. His LED switched to yellow showing that he was thinking about all the possibilities of their situation. Hank sighed.

"Connor." The android stopped the car on the side of the road and turned to look at Hank. "No matter what happens, just know that I love you, son." Connor smiled fully this time and something soared through his system.

Happiness. Love.

His LED turned back to blue and leaned over to hug Hank. The old man would have hugged back, but the blood on his hands prevented that. Android and human pulled apart and sat there in silence until a light began to shine ahead of them. It was snowing so Connor couldn't make out what was producing the light, but it was small. Too small to be a car. Connor stepped out of the car, leaving Hank and Sumo in the car. Connor walked a little farther out in front of the car before he saw the source of light. It was a flashlight. Connor shouted out towards the light.

"Hey!" Connor immediately regretted his decision, wondering if the flashlight belonged to a soldier. The light shine immediately into Connor's eyes and came closer. The android covered his eyes trying to block the light until the source was standing in front of him.

"Connor."

Connor looked up and he was relieved.

"Markus."

I finished Detroit: Become Human and got the best ending possible. Everyone is alive and Connor beat Amanda. Markus was 100% a pacifist. Kara got to Canada with Luther and Alice. Connor only died once in my playthrough during the interrogation scene, but other than that, I feel like I did well for a blind playthrough. I can't wait to get on with this story and hope you will enjoy it as it goes on. I'll be uploading my blind playthrough on YouTube and I'll put a link down when it's up. Also, follow me on Twitter to see some of my random shit that I post @lilybugg6.
