Chapter-25: Two Worlds Collide

She  picked  up her phone and called him back.
"Did you like it?"

"This is beautiful"

"Glad to be of service"

"But i can't take it. Its-"

"Before you say that, there's nothing worth more than you", he said and her heart felt like it would explode.

"I'll see you tomorrow evening, in that dress", he cut the phone and In-Ha layed on her bed again and smiled to herself.

Hei reached home. She carefully entered inside so that no one could hear her coming inside.

Her head was about to explode and she didn't want to face anyone. She wanted sleep.
As she was tip toeing inside Mark cleared his throat.

"Back so early?", he said  and she turned around slowly.

"Not in the mood for your interrogation", she said .

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Stop yelling!", she snapped

"Where were you last night"

"I don't know"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"That I don't know", she said closing her eyes and rubbing her head.

"How can you not know? Did you sleep with someone?", he asked her and she was lost for a minute.

"I hope not"

"Huh?"

"I found myself in a hotel room. My clothes were intact though", she told him and he raised his eyebrows in confusion.

He didn't push it any further or else she would explode.

"We were worried sick. We thought you were dead in some ditch."

"Might as well have been dead than this fucking headache."

"Go freshen up I'll make some lemonade."

She went to her room and took a shower changed into her pyjamas and a sweatshirt.

When she came out Yugyeom was there as well he came to her and hugged her tight. She was shocked at his behaviour. He had never hugged her like that before.

"You're alive"

"Yes. Stop being over dramatic", Yug rolled his eyes at the sassy remark.

"Stop pulling such stunts."

"I'm gonna try not to."

They sat on the couch and Mark gave her the lemonade

She drank it and sighed.

"So you got the email for the gala?", Yugyeom asked

"Yeah"

"Who's gonna be your date?"

"I've already asked In-Ha", Mark said and Hei was confused, "we went out on a date last night"

"It was about time", she said resting the ice cold glass against her head

"Who's your date Yug?", he asked

"Have you ever seen me take dates to the gala?", Yugyeom said and she rolled her eyes.

"So is your phase over?", Mark asked and Yug looked at her too.

"I guess", She got up taking a deep breath.
