Chapter-30: Changing Colors

Hei turns red.

"I was just making sure, you don't break anything or anyone", Jb laughs at her statement.

"Btw what are you doing here?", Hei asked lookin around the empty basketball court.

"The winter Cup is starting next week and I'm hyped af for it. So I thought why not practice"

"You boys sure love this game. Mark won't shut up about how he's in the starting line up",

"Have you ever been to an official game, Hei?"

"In what world would I go to a basketball game?", she said playfully.

Jb's smile widened, "In a world where I invite you to one."

She looked at him and wanted to kiss him for being so cute but tried to maintain a straight face.

"It's Mark's first official match, so I'll be there for him", Hei said with a smirk.

"So you're gonna be there only for Mark?", he asked his grip tightening around her waist looking into her eyes.

"No-I'll be there for Yugyeom as well", her teasing smile widening.

"Oh", he whispered in her ear that sent shiver down her spine, "only them?", he was toying with her senses.

"Oh hey coach!", she suddenly said looking behind him and Jb turned leaving her out of his grip so she pushed him a little and ran out of there.

Jb laughed seeing her run like that.

Oh boy was it getting hot in there she thought fanning herself as she got out of the basketball court.

Jb was walking right behind her.

"I don't know where Hei went" In-Ha said to Mark while standing near their lockers.

After her sudden departure from the Cafeteria In-ha couldn't get a hold on Hei which was unlike her.

"You know her, she probably got bored or something", Mark gave her a reassuring smile.

Yugyeom laughed at all of Bam's stupid jokes, eyes crinkling up at the sides.

"I should ask them", she looked at Yug & Bam.

Mark pulled her towards him, she looked at him confused. He still hadn't let go of her wrist, and he pulled her forward, hand slipping into her own almost naturally.

Mark's eyes softened and he brought his hand to her cheek, rubbing his thumb across her lower lip. He stared at her for a moment

"The things I wish I could do", he whispered making her all flustered.

"That's all you can think of", she pushed him away and made her way to Yugyeom and Bambam.

She sat with them and they started explaining the whole Hei-Jaebum situation.

"So that's why i couldn't find both of them today."

"Probably somewhere making out", Bam chuckled to himself.

"What the hell man", Yugyeom punched Bam.

In-Ha zoned out when they started fighting, that's when a voice startled her

"Hey there"

"Hey" she said looking up at him.

"Hey guys", Jackson said but all they did was glare at him.

"You do know how to make an appearance", she stated while looking around the campus.

"Beautiful, huh?" Jackson spoke after a moment, and against her better judgement, she turned to face him, "The college, I mean."

"Yeah",she nodded.

"It could apply to you."

"Stop it." she answered quietly, cheeks blushing.

Jackson smirked "Why, are you getting embarrassed?

"Because it's embarrassing to flirt with your brother's girlfriend"

"I guess i should leave", he gave her a charming smile but his eyes were focused on someone behind her.

She felt a presence behind her, Mark wrapped his arms around her and she smiled, "Hey"

Mark looked at Jackson as he walked away winking in their direction.

"Where were you?", she asked him

"Checking on Hei", he said

"Bam said she's with Jb", she looked at him.

"I know", he said with a bored tone.

"Why are you upset with me?", She finally looked at Mark

"I'm not upset with you."

"Please don't take me for a fool. I know when you're mad"

"It's nothing. I'm not mad at you.", he kissed her head but she was still frowning.

With a sigh In-ha got up
"I forgot to bring my other book" Mark just nodded at her making her walk away with an annoyed face.

Just then In-Ha saw Hei coming over so she waved at Hei and Jb waved at In-Ha from behind Hei.

"I'll make sure that you'll cheer for me", he said winking at her and Hei smiled before walking towards In-Ha.

"What's with guys and the cheesy lines?", Hei said while approaching In-Ha.

"Why are you so flustered?", she held Hei's face in her hand, "You're warm", she said teasingly.

"It's hot in here", she said while tying her hair, "Or not",she said when the cold air hit her as In-ha fanned her with her book

"Perhaps the thing is that you had, quite possibly, developed a crush.", Hei looked at her with wide eyes.

"What are you talking about?"

"And Not just a little, tiny one. The kind that hit you like a tsunami each time you look at him.", In-Ha concluded leaving Hei was confused.

"You think I like him?", her eyes still trained on In-Ha.

"200%", In-Ha was damn sure.

"Fuck", Hei stopped dead in her tracks and that made In-Ha giggle.

"You my girl are whipped", In-Ha said

"Woah! I'm whipped", she muttered under her breath with wide eyes at sudden realisation.
