Jiyong was happily playing with Shin Yong when his phone rang once again. Sohee, the name flashed on his phone’s screen. He ignored it and put it down again. Jiyong knows he’s being an ass for not answering but messages and calls but he can’t right now. Not when Dara is finally thinking about giving him a chance again.

Jiyong decided that he’ll talk to Sohee calmly and end things between them first thing when they get back to Seoul. He was blinded by lust, by thrill and maybe it’s true that regret only comes in the end. He knows for sure it’ll hurt Sohee but what she needs is not him. She’s better off with someone who’ll love her genuinely—someone without any commitment. And Jiyong cannot afford to lose this chance of getting Dara back. It will take time but he’s willing to wait.

He fucked up once; he will not let it happen again.

Jiyong’s phone beeped. He slides to unlock his phone and a message flashed from its screen.

Fr: Sohee

I haven’t seen you for days. So here I am, taking the initiative to see you. I’m at the shore Jiyong. Meet me or else…

“What?!” his mind shouted as panic arises from his body. Sohee is here. No, he cannot let Dara see her. He won’t let Dara hurt again because of them. “Shin Yong-ah.” He called out to his son. “Daddy will just go out for a moment. Tell mommy when she goes out of the shower that daddy will just meet a friend, okay?”

“Yes, daddy.” Shin Yong answered and he kissed him quickly on the forehead.
